@@strawbabyjess She leaps and replants before releasing the ball. It's called a crow hop. You can see it on the very first pitch at 3:56. I can recognize it without slowing it down bc I have umpired fast pitch for 20 years, but if you pause just before she releases the ball and move frame by frame, you will see the leap and replant. You can also tell by where her drag starts. It starts over a foot in front of the rubber.
@@alexamiranda5925 whether she does it or not, it is illegal. It just means the umpires are not calling it. Read the rulebook. Crow hop is specifically called out as illegal.
