I love the new Ranger only real complaint is it's LOUD inside the cab and the roof leaks. Also the engine breaking was too aggressive so I installed a Gilomen Innovations EBS Helix Lockout Shim to fix that issue.
God willing, I'm getting this for my Dad this winter. He deserves it and won't go and do that for himself. Dad's a truly humble man in his late 70's and he still crawls around in the bush with a Jeep since he couldn't ride quads anymore. He needs the HVAC system. Honestly, I hope they share that system throughout the whole lineup as an option. Everyone I can think of would be all for it. Great video BTW and thanks for sharing it.
Nice I got a 2017 model north star 1000 after seeing yours ill be trading it in to up grade one thing I suggest doing is putting some 4 in extenders on your wheels it will save your machine from tipping be live this my freind
Nice ride need some one to build a pull behind camper for these for four to six people that would be cool go way out and be comfy in your rig then actually sleep in a dry safe warm place too

You mentioned in your video that you had a roof leak was that resolved also the droning noise you here inside the cab maybe a loose cab sounds resonate through metal and plastic unbelievably nowadays seeing is that there ligher gauged materials ,do a water test with a hose look for leaks inside or take a rubber mallet and tap around the edges listen for a rattle a loose cable make horrible sounds just a thought from a 25-year mechanic awesome UTV love your lights
I think the noise is because now the air intakes for the CVT and the engine intake are now routed under the entire cab to under the hood in front. Polaris did not solve ther roof leak for me I was told that almost all of them leak so I taped up the seam and caulked around the cab.
That's a beautiful machine, I really like the back window rap. That's awesome! Also where do they leak from? Because I'm sure It's something that can easily be fixed right? Might be in the market for a UTV next year.
Nice machine. We thought about the Jeep route over purchasing our xp ranger crew but these go over the trail so nice. I prefer driving one over a Jeep. Price point is a hard pill to swallow though.

Looks like you have special brackets to be able to make a light bar that big fit. I have a 50” bar and I can’t get it bolted to the cage because there is no room with the brackets it came with. Thanks

I've had a 900 ranger for 5 years now and all the good and bad times I've had with it has left me with the conclusion that I should have bought a used Toyota pick-up, a truck would have came with all the "extras" such as doors hvac and windshield and for the money I've spent I could have added a dumpbed kit and still come out cheaper! Biggest gripe is that in Missouri they won't allow you to licence them for road use and depending on what cop you ask you may or may not get a ticket even if you do have a triangle and a flag.
@@hulsey19750 You have much larger tires on a Jeep so you can't make a statement like that without factoring weight distribution and tire surface area.
$25k+ and the roof leaks and its loud....hmm I'll just keep my Ford Bronco 2, it doesn't leak and its not loud in the cab and cost me $900. These UTV's are ridiculously priced for no more than what they are.
Exactly why I have it, its a hell of a lot cheaper than one of those damn over-priced piece of junk toys that ATV manufacturers are raping consumers over the coals with. My Bronco will go the same places those stupid toys go for a hell of a lot cheaper and much better fuel economy.

@@jamesshaughnessyl1493 They may have changed it a bit mine didn't have cup holders. I laid out in it's side and it fit under the passenger seat well. The seat wouldn't fully sit down but it was within a half inch or so. We also got ours from Academy sports but it is the same brand but sometimes Amazon sells knock offs.
Can you tell me which high lifter kit you bought? Was it the new 3” signature lift kit? Do you have any rubbing with the 30s and the lift? Did you install lower a arms?
tuttlepuddle it must have been a 2” lift for the 2018 model. Because the 2019 is showing a new 3” lift. I’m just trying to figure out which way to go. Did you install it? On the new 3” you have to put a spacer below the spring on the shock, does yours have that?
I’ve got a very similar setup. Glad I’m not the only one that thinks these things are loud in the cab. Have you had any issues with your radiator fan shutting off after getting wet? Kinda annoying I’ve got watch the temp like a hawk so it won’t overheat if the fan does shutoff.
im not sure you know what LOUD is..... i had a can am commander(mid engine between the front driver and passenger) not a rear engine like polaris and above 20 mph you couldnt even here the passenger.... that's LOUD !!
The tires are quiet that's why I went with a square tight treaded tire also for longevity. The handling is a little different as you've raised the center of gravity some bit. If you've had a lifted vehicle you know how to compensate. It's not terrible I drive it 60mph cruising down back roads for miles.
The cab is sealed VERY well. We live on a farm so it's going to get dusty inside like a pickup would or anything else. you can ride behind a car on a dirt road and there wont be dust inside the cab.
It works really well. It has vents in the rear. You can be in a t shirt in the dead of winter. The can is sealed really well on these newer body style units.
tuttle...picking my new one up tomorrow -- do you feel the 20% tint is too dark, make it hard to see out near dusk? Thinking of doing the tint in rear window as well...was confused to hear you so you didnt tint rear so you could see out of it....? you think if was tinted wouldnt be able to see out or ? thanks for info.....
20% tint is perfect and you can see out pretty easily with all the LED lights. I did not tint the rear because I wanted maximum visibility when I'm backing up at night so I went with the vinyl wrap that is completely visible at night as there is no tint to it.
tuttlepuddle yes getting the crew. I’ve never had one leak - putting the large light bars on roof does help potential leaks as when driving the weight of light bars pulls up on the roof plastic some...helping it to potentially leak. But yeh I’ve heard many reviews, some get a roof that leaks and some don’t - but you are right..for $30k it shouldn’t leak no matter what
Here in Idaho everyone carries a gun. Glove box under the seat or in your boot. Hence no mass shootings here and burglaries are almost obsolete. Street violence is non existence.
