IBO 335 FPS, Axle to Axle 35", Brace Height 6.5", let off 80-90%. Mass Weight 3.5#. Draw Length 25-30.5". We shoot the Stealth through a Chrono and at 18m. We discuss how this bow compares in the market place. archeryshop.com...
Dang it Steven! Two years ago your videos convinced me to buy an Evolve 35 for myself and a Stinger for my son. Great choices. I love my bow so much i didn't think i would ever need anything else. Now I think I need a Carbon Stealth too. Soon my wife won't let me watch your videos any more!
This guy is amazing!!! Do you want to know anything about bows he probably has a video on it he's very passionate and I respect that about him. He's been in the biz for a very long time obviously and he knows his stuff. Just need to get that out there. So thank you for all your time and effort. You are a Creator sir! Keep up the good work! And ignore all those people that talk nothing but shit that have never made a video themselves to see really how hard it is.
I love your honesty! The bow companies are full of marketing shit every year. I love to see you compare you shooting a 2019 bow vs 2015 bow and the effect on score
Love the vids. I find it funny that when you test an expensive bow you shoot a huge group, yet when you test a budget bow like a StingerX or a cheap chinese bow, you shoot well with it.
I know I think I might be shooting better now. but the Stinger shoots great. I have always shot all Drive bows well. The drive shoots better than I expect. But I will say I have customers who shoot better scores with their Drive than their 2000 dollar bows.
@@5jjt I'm not Steve but a deflexed or at least a less reflexed riser configuration makes a difference with compounds. In addition to brace height and cam aggressiveness..... to an extent.
Hi Steven 😉 I now have the 35 Carbon Stealth for about 1 month. Fantastic bow combined with the Dead Level Hunter V2. I also own a Carbon Stealth EF in 33 Inches! This thing is a really high speed bow and also really good to shoot. Similar to the 35 I get very good groups even on 50, 60 and 70 meters! It is like you said, you can have a really light comfortable bow and a heavy target bow. Thats what I enjoy the most with this bow. I am really happy, that I saw your reviews for the Carbon Stealth! I can highly recommend this bow. In my opinion there is no better bow out there for hunting and 3D! Best wishes from Germany 😊😊
Hallo from Germany! I think you got me! I also was thinking of buying a Hoyt rx3.... But after I saw this Video, I went to a local bowshop and tested this bow! It is just amazing! I ordered a new PSE stealth now 👍🏻😊 Btw I also ordered a deadcenter V2 stabilizer set what I saw in your Videos. Your vids are very interesting and you often helped me out to make the right decision! Keep up with this great work! Best wishes from Germany
Regarding justifying the cost to your partner: Old mate wanted to buy an expensive remote control model aircraft. So, being a devious bastard he got another friend that the unsuspecting partner didn't know to call her at home, and tell her that her lucky husband had won an expensive model aircraft in a charity raffle... Problem solved. Partner very happy for lucky husband... Not very long after husband has unfortunate accident with large expensive model aircraft that he didn't actually win in a raffle, and absolutely smashes it in to confetti from a full power vertical dive in to very hard ground (everything a total write off). Devious husband was surveying the wreckage and lamented "What am I going to tell my wife?" Equally devious friend who witnessed crash says... "I'll tell her you won another raffle"!
Hi Steve, I enjoy the reviews very much. Is the Stealth a capable target bow? Because of health issues I need a light bow. Lighter than a Prevail. Could this bow be a worthy replacement?
Exact same thing happened to me.... Always a hoyt fan until I shot my first pse....the xpedite to be exact..I immediately sold my rx1 and defiant and bought the xpedite and the stealth
According to your title for the video this bow is the SE cam fitted Stealth 35. You kept mentioning fast modules during this video. To my understanding there are no FL modules for the SE cam only the EC cam? Do you have a Stealth 35 EC in stock to show speed comparison between the SE and EC?
So Hoyt's carbon risers are not full carbon at all? I always wondered why are those bows just as heavy as an aluminum bow. It makes perfect sense now...
I found your channel today and really like it. But I would like to know what you think about the Bear Cruzer G2. I am wondering if I should get a PSE Stinger or the Bear Cruzer.
I don't know alot about them, but I do know somthings about them first pse is a better company for warranties and the stinger is cheaper. The bear cruzer is about $150 more but what are you getting for that extra you pay?, I don't know but in my opinion the stinger is better value, but what do I know I'm just some bloke who likes bows. Ps. I know you were not asking me but I hope that little bit of info helped👍
@@hamish4092 Thanks alot! Im living in germany and both bows are the same price over here. But the things you said are quite similar to the ones I have read in a forum. It seems as both are quite good bows, but most people recommended the Stinger over the Cruzer. So I guess I will get myself a Stinger extreme for christmas :)
@@Niklas96DE I tend to agree. Not only is the advertized wide adjustibility of this bow (and similar bows) useless for you, it's even detrimental. Significantly below the max. draw weight they are very inefficient, and almost impossible to tune properly. I went through the same hassle with a Infinite Edge, until I gave up and got a Ferocity. And my advice - try the Stinger in a shop before you buy.
i just bought one new this year 2020 for 3D. question do you personally keep your string stop gap at about 1/2" or 10mm ? or is this just the way it came to you ? mine is coming loose / moves . yes i have tie-tend down the set screw . i put some dowel rods in the hole to keep it from moving back but still loose and sloppy . could use some help on this. Ritchie
My Air 34 was over priced and I wasn't getting even close to the advertised IBO, it's a great shooting bow. Will the fast modules work on the carbon Air 34
I love the reviews and recently became a PSE believer. Still have a Hoyt Maxxis 31 that I love, but recently bought a PSE Drive 3B for a second hunting bow. I can't believe how cheap the 3B is. It is deadly accurate and consistent. The video where you review the 3B was what sold me on that bow. That group was tight, even better than this $1,500 Carbon Stealth.
Not bad speed results at all for that bow. Out of curiosity what's the distance to your chrono? When I was testing my new Rpm 360 (wife actually found a new one still in box at a localish shop) had to move to about 10 feet for mine to pick up the arrows. Couldn't pass up the price the guy offered even though was looking at the PSE expedites and Mathews Triax.
Love your videos. Currently have a Halon 32 and it’s a dead in hand bow and quiet but it’s top heavy and just heavy in general. Really want to switch to the carbon stealth. Recommendations for setup and axle to axle length for a guy with 28.5” draw and used for hunting and some 3D hopefully
Can see this bow being the target bow for anyone at all concerned about weight. Really liking the no showy nonsense sleek simple functional attractive lines. These ever so easily adjustable & tuneable evolve cams PSE are now featuring on most bows are a genuine technological advancement.
Love your reviews! Purchased one today thanks to your in depth review. Now I just want to shoot as consistent as you do without a peep and whisker Hahaha!
Thanks for another thorough review Steven! I loved the Evoke 35 when I shot it and I bet this Carbon Stealth 35 is awesome. Hard to beat that Evolve cam system! 👍
Would love to see you do a side by side review of this bow and the 33in version, I can't decide which one I want 🤔

Dear Sir one qustion: Is the CAM system of this bow a "binary CAM" as bowtech calls it? I still struggle to understand the different CAM system especialy the so called hybrid systems. To my understanding this bow is a binary cam systen, right or wrong? Thanks a lot for your very interessting vids. Greatings from Germany
Twin cam is where top and bottoms cams are the same. binary is a twin cam with no yokes. hybrid top and bottom are different, single cam the top is just an idler wheel.

Archery Supplies thanks for the answer. these principals I know but I still dont know how exactly doese a hyprid work. so your introduced bow is a twin cam which needs synchronisaton of the cams?
Hi Steve once again great review. I got a question! I'm a big guy and looking for 31 inch long draw pse to hunt with. I have a brute force lite and I love it. But if there is something faster for 2019 I would like to try it. Any suggestions?
Love that bow.....except......the grip. Sorry. I know it's structural and all, but it is uncomfortable to me. Could I adapt, maybe, maybe not. Why gamble.
I found the same issue with the Perform but worked around it & glad I did, However if it had the same grip as my Bowtech Specialist the bow would be perfect. Shooting really good scores with it as is though so cannot really complain. I used a thin strip off of the edge of a thick chopping board to get repeatable hand placement & haven't looked back ;)
I thought the same thing when I first saw it. I can now say that it is a very good grip for both accuracy and consistency. I shoot with a relaxed, angled grip with just my index finger touching the front (no wrist sling).
Check for cam lean - the noise could be the string catching on the cam. Once This was discovered and the washers switched on the axle the pong went away.
The reason the Hoyt has to be timed & not the PSE is because the Evolve system is slaved & the Hoyt isn't. So no matter where you put the d loop on the string on the Evolve system the timing won't go out, that has always been the big selling point for Bowtech. The Hoyt system is not slaved so depending where you put the d loop height it will affect timing. So on the Hoyt you set d loop height then check timing and time the bow from there. The advantage of the Hoyt system is that is can be creep tuned. Both systems are great & suit different people. Cam & 1/2 Hoyt system suits my partner, slaved suits me and the scores show it for us both. ;)
I own this bow, it still must be timed. It even has timing marks for this purpose. Once timed, it holds it very well. It is the most accurate & consistent bow I've ever shot (coming from a Hoyt guy).
I really don't know how it gets much better than this. I don't think anyone would argue that Mathew's Triax is one of the best short axle-to-axle bows. I like a little longer & lighter bow that PSE offers in their Carbon Stealths.@@johnkovacs5972
