Mahendrabhai Oza more like big teams strategy made him get the fastest lap. Ferrari or Mercedes could easyly reach 1:38 as they did in qualifications but they decided to save tyres. So they stayed at 1:49 lap time in the beggining with soft tyres. They could easyly crash magnussens record.
This race was a very weird one, because - Giovinazzi led the race for four laps. - Magnussen had the fastest lap. - Gasly was third for some time. - The Mercedes drivers didn't see the podium.
Please don’t let this be the last victory of Vettel in a Ferrari. We love you Seb. Edit: Seb announced his retirement😢 I love you Seb, thank you and Kimi for making me love F1 ❤️
after being caught cheating during this period, they will be nowhere near a win for years to come!!Vettel will probably lose his seat during the season as well!hahaha!!!
Old school race: Vettel wins Bottas gets a call on radio from James Kimi is unlucky Kvyat goes torpedo-mode Grosjean dumps s.o. in the wall All the classics
@@willcampbellpfc This again. No they weren't. They found a loophole that got banned for 2020. Just because mercedes was running DAS that got banned for 2021, doesn't mean they were illegal in 2020 right? Learn something please
An outlap should result of a 2 seconds advantage Vettel's pitstop lasted 3 seconds, Leclerc's 2.4 seconds but Vettel still managed to come out in front, that outlap was phenomenal
Lol it's funny how some ppl fail to understand Ferrari's way of thinking. If they had pitted Leclerc first, he'd possibly win, but Verstappen would have pitted at the same time as him meaning that Vettel would have to settle for P3(best scenario). They messed up Vettel's pit (3.0s) giving Leclerc even more advantage considering that his pit was quicker (2.4s). Ferrari thought that Leclerc would still manage to come ahead of Vettel, but they didn't take into consideration his monter outlap, which gave him the win. Then when they had to pass the slower cars infront of them, Vettel was quicker and managed to build a difference. Then they were leading 1-2 why risk it? 1.Leclerc is not a fighting for the championship so it doesn't matter to the team if he gets P1 or P2, as long as max points go to the team. 2.Vettel was leading why would he give back his position when he won it fair and square bcs of his superb outlap? 3.Vettel helped Leclerc in Belgium by holding Hamilton, and even though he could have got a podium if pitted a bit earlier, the team didn't do it. 4.In Q3 at Monza the plan was for Seb to give a tow to Leclerc and then Leclerc to Vettel and the last one didn't happen as Leclerc slowed down on purpose. 5.Vettel was flying in Singapore so if they told him to swap positions with Leclerc (cuz he started on pole) he'd surely say no. Why do it? Also he's 3 points away from getting a ban so if he was forced to race his teammate there could possibly be a contact and who knows, maybe a penalty too making it almost 100% sure for him to miss a race. To sum up, Vettel won the race by pushing in the most important moment. He got ahead and won, so cut him a bit of slack and let the poor man enjoy it after the injustice in Canada and so many problems he's faced the last months, and f-ing hell Ferrari had to give him that after his immense help in the last two races.
BUT Lec should have boxed first. In a "normal situation", Merc should undercut as soon as possible(which was the lap ver and vet stopped) and if they did that, HAM would've WON. And ferrari would look silly chosing to protect Vet's 3rd place instead of Lec's 1st. In conclusion, Ferrari made a mistake(at that time), but were lucky, because Merc made a bigger one!
Your main point is right but there's a lot of false facts about previous races in your statements. Two most notable ones is that 1. Vettel didn't exactly do a "monster" lap, the outlap in Singapore is just always amazing because of the tyre wear there and 2. Leclerc didn't purposefully slow down in Monza, Vettel actually overtook Leclerc in the second corner on the outlap, which then in return sent Ferrari into a headless chicken run into what to do next.
I tried that F1 TV 7 days free trial... No Mercedes on podium The Grazzie Ragazzie dude wins The torpedo is bacc Magnussen had the fastest lap Im truly happy with that service - I will get myself the one year pass
Were are you located. Thinking of that subscription in the USA rather than $50/month for RU-vid TV just to get racing. I can live without NASCAR but would like IndyCar and must have F1.
King of shitty car.. from 8 to last with 10 laps to go. thats just.. Well im a dane.. imagine how i feel.. Lost to a fucking one armed polish guy.. Come on man !!
@@vyes1646 back then, fastest lap points doesn't exist. Besides, they probably do it for fun. Not pitting would've given a slightly better chance to not finish last
Don't count out 2022 and even 2021just yet. Vettel has proved that he can get the car in position this year. All we need is pretty much both Mercs and both RB out and we potentially can see him win agajn
Eh, Vettel still has the pace to win. He dragged that Aston to 2 P2's (sure, Hungary is a DSQ, but he still put it in P2). If 2022 cars are closer, I wouldn't count Vettel out.
Alonso's final win in Spain in 2013 will make everyone cry once he scores another victory like when Raikkonen did in 2018. Vettel's victory will hit deep when it comes!
@@quinten3628 I love how now Gasly is showing that he's a decent driver people are changing the narrative as if he only looked bad next to Max. He underperformed at Red Bull by any standards but happily he's doing well at toro rosso
I thought everybody missed it. Can feel his pain. He's the only driver on the field who would be told to let his teammate past even on the same strategy.
Takamusasu we aren’t butthurt....we are just trying to correct false claim....there are strong justifications as to why vettel won it instead of “given it”. To add on im not siding on vettel only...i like CL too
No matter how much chaos caused by Romain " the 2nd Maldonado" Grosjean... .he still kept his seat in HAAS team next year.....weird???? I don't know???.....
“Wow and Mercedes well they will be really really upset - p4 and p5 after dominating the season they will really be threatened by Ferrari..” filming in his hotel bathroom
Its unbelievable. And they also didnt put it in the highlights. He drove 3 sec slower for 2 laps before hamilton pitted, just so he could stay infront. Insanity
@121bham you've done f all for your country , the fact that you might live in a first world country is thanks to your parents/grandparents. But you ? You've done f all
This channel need to get un-britainized. Highlighing ferrari's "easy pass" on alfa, and NOT showing the "Valtteri, it's James" bit. And the commentator again being sarcastic on GIO letting Vet through forgetting about.... dunno... Ocon in Monaco 2018?
2019 Singapore GP: ✅ Ferrari pole position ✅ Ferrari 1-2 ✅ Ferrari get a strategy right ✅ No Mercedes on podium ✅ “Valtteri, it’s James” Overall very happy 😃
@@sprtrnds7880 well if the red bulls Baku 2018 each other in the pit exit blocking the mercedes double stack along with a honda engine failure causing gasly's car to explode taking out both Ferraris and Norris. I don't see why not.
Unfortunately they used Gio as a mere pawn to help Ferrari win. The same happened when Stroll kept making it difficult for others to pass him, but went to box when it were the Mercedes. When you have to ask ur team to go to box and they have the GUTS to say no while been recorded, you know something is wrong with the sport
nah what happened with ferrari is that they had no sandbags on in testing and some idiot placed them on before australia and ferrari forgot to take them off until after the summer
Because Leclerc fans or Vettel haters are whiny little bitch babies. Leclerc couldn't overtake Vettel after 3 safety cars. He couldn't come out of the pit lane faster even when his pit stop took less time than Vettel's. Still these blind idiots say Leclerc was faster. If he was faster, he should have had no problem in overtaking Vettel.
The difference is Charles was robbed of a victory. Vettel was robbed of at most second place in Belgium. I say second because Vettel was just not quick enough that weekend.
@@pippo9830 Exactly, I'd like to put emphasis on this, why did fisichella and frentzen generally drive well along their careers but when they gave them a winning williams (97) and renault (05-06) did they fail badly? Some drivers can't drive top cars properly.
These people saying Vettel didn't deserve are absolutely stupid.... It was Vettel who had relatively slower pit stop than leclerc... But within a lap seb pulled by hammering that out lap.... Plus if Vettel hadn't pitted, Max would've undercut easily...... It was purely Vettel's effort...... What Seb did in Spa... Now that was so called GRANTED WIN for Charles...... I'm not hating anyone is just these people who talk rubbish without knowing insights....
Karthik S.V Ferarri turned a 1 3 into a 1 2. They made the right call. The safety car towards the end of the race sorta soiled Leclerc’s chance for victory. With tire advantages, he could have passed Vettel like Vettel did to him in Hungaroring.
Yeah vettel drove a faster lap on fresh tyres. WOW amazing! Its not that he doesnt deserve it but any driver would have driven a faster lap on fresh tyres, they call it an undercut for a reason. Your attitude exists on the vettel fanboy denial flow chart. www.reddit.com/r/formuladank/comments/d39jp9/flowchart_a_guide_to_the_reactions_of_vettel/
I dont think Vettel didn't deserve it, but i wanted to just check you hadnt overlooked me for the "absolutely stupid" category anyway as i think im still suitably qualified for that role
☝🐴😄 Grandissimo!!! The Scuderia have done an amazing job. It's great to be a Ferrari and Vettel supporter again! I've never given up hope, VAI SEBASTIAN! VAI!!! He definitely will win Japan, his favorite track. First we gotta beat Bottas in Russia.
@@matt_v_photo Any crash with Grosjean is usually Grosjean's fault, you know there going to bits of carbon fibre flying when Grosjean is behind the wheel, only Pastor was more likely to return with less than a whole car.
@@Jordy1707 I agree , unless he joins Red Bull , I like Alex but he's not fast enough at the moment, an experienced driver like Seb would be great as Max's teammate and he obviously knows the team very well
@Izumi Culture Bruh! Vettel helped out Leclerc in BAH and Spa by holding up HAM... Moreover, Ferrari couldn't have risked P1 position by brining in LEC first, as the pit window was really tight.. They called in VET first to see where u wud get slotted and then call in for LEC.. Had it been a normal outlap for VET, LEC wid have stayed in front.. But that blistering out lap by VET made the difference..
@Izumi Culture Plus, Merc have done the "Valterri, its James", quite a significant number of times.. I mean even BOT could have challenged the Ferrari's, but no! Merc doesn't trust BOT as the first man.. So they ask him to backoff to create a pit window for HAM, to slot in perfectly as he likes.. Surely anyone would lose their mind over this..
@121bham Oh my god you lil smugface 😅😆 throw some more tantrums, i love it. He's no loser. He destroyed Hamilton when it was about real racing with V8s and proper cars, and not Hybrid V6-es and fuel saving tyre managmeent and it all being a FIA - Mercedes show.
@@kyekyeeminah8734 Don't try to turn this on Ferrari you pathetic Ham/merc fanboy. Ferrari had a perfectly legitimate reason for pitting Vettel first because they were trying to protect Vettel against Verstappen undercutting and by doing so Ferrari got a 1-2 in the end. What was merc's excuse for telling Bottas to go slow? Absolutely nothing.
Botas- has 2 wins and 11 podium appearances ..with 231 points, he is second in championship points...keep crying haters....it is called strategy ..sometimes it works , sometimes it doesn't... mercedes have won 10 of 15 races in 2019
Knowing this is going to be seb’s last win in F1 make me sad but proud to know I supported someone who has achieved a lot in the sport and more than just wins and championships.
I can’t believe this actually happened. Good for Vettel, finally winning a race! I just feel so sad for Bottas. I know Lewis is good, but it’s not fair to see a ”Valtteri, it’s James” moment again
