Great review on the car, bud! Funny story. I just bought my 2019 XSE Midnight Edition, and its identical to the one in your video here except mine has the black interior. I didn't plan on buying this car, it just spontaneously happened! Typically people would watch your review BEFORE buying a new car such as this, but I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum and watched it AFTER I bought it. So now that I'm inevitably (and happily) stuck with it for a few years, I want to see what other people think about my car. I've had my car for 2 days as of posting this comment and I'm still discovering many features. I barely tried out sport mode with the paddle shifters an hour ago! It governs at 134 mph, by the way, and it gets there quick. I agree with everything in your video. I still haven't gotten to drive it around winding roads and throw its weight around, but I will definitely say it is a comfortable ride and I appreciate all the luxuries it has to offer. Thanks for the review! It kinda helped me like my car better and feel like I discovered more about it. 👌🤘 ****Edit**** I'd also like to touch on the JBL audio system. It is very crisp and clean, and sounds spectacular at any volume. The subwoofer leaves a tad to be desired, but if you fade to the rear it definitely compensates and helps with that bass that you may be looking for. Honestly it has a respectable amount of punch and bump. I'm really more happy with it than I am disappointed with it.
That's fantastic! I'm glad you're happy with your purchase! I'm a big believer that it's important for people to find the right car for them, which might not be the objectively "best" car, but it's the one that suits their wants and needs the best. Sounds like you nailed it! Hope you enjoy your Camry, but it sounds as if you already are. 😉👍🏻
Man great review! Camrys are lowkey fast. It’s able to beat charger RTs on 1/8th and quarter mile drag racing. I race my mopar friends on the drag strip all the time for fun 😂💪🏾 looking forward to watching more reviews new supporter here. TRD Camry definitely takes it to the next level in terms of driving experience.
Having owned an Audi RS4, for price point, repair costs, fuel economy, and fun my XSE is all the fun without all the added costs. Love my 2019 Camry XSE!
Jax. Subbed! This was one the best reviews of the Camry I've seen. You nailed this review. Well done. I own a 2019. I love it. Just couldn't afford to spring for the V6. The 4 cylinder is smooth, fuel effient but def not blasting anywhere. 😆
I just bought the 2020 XSE 4 cylinder fully loaded. I could have bought the V6 but the 4 cyl is more practical for me because I want something that is a perfect daily driver and excellent for road trips. If I want a true sporty V6, I would get a Lexus IS350.
CastrejonHDTV congrats on your Camry. I agree with you. At the end of the day, for a daily driver, good mpg and road manners means a lot. With either the 4 or 6 cylinder, you will not be disappointed. Toyota really did a great job with the Gen 8 Camry.
@@AlexBAlixir98 I can't wait to have it. I'm literally taking delivery in about 16 hours from this comment. Been waiting over a week to receive it after the deal.
Bahahaha! The headroom in back is terrible for anyone over 6'1". That said, the engine makes it the ultimate family sedan sleeper and absolutely hilarious. Before you pull the trigger, I'd test drive the Honda Accord with the 2.0 turbo. It's spectacularly good. And that engine can be tuned to well over 300hp. (It's the same as the Civic Type R's engine.)
With my 2018 Camry, I have the V6 version and my dealership told me my transmission needed a update, once they did that it felt lazy and I was upset so now I’m looking into like a ECU tune to not make it feel lazy
That’s my car but I have the 4 cylinder XSE. I wanted the V6 but Due to traffic the 4 saves me money. I love my Camry! To imagine I was going to get a Malibu
More busy on the outside for a sports car. Uh yes please! V6 300 hp. And a sedan?? About time a camry comes out on top of most! Putting it next to a honda turbo 2.0 lt? A CAMRY!! Why wouldnt you grab this! And the interior seats with tons of room because it's a camry. Gonna buy here soon.
As a transmission? Sure! It's smooth and will probably last forever (it's a Toyota after all), but it won't imitate a dual clutch or respond to enthusiastic driving as crisply as some people might want, especially in the V6 models.
I have a v6 XLE and I said the same how can a Camry have that much power but u have to think 🤔 they put that same engine in the huge Tacoma truck u knew that lol 😂 crazy
Love the interior, I just think the outside two toned color is a bit tacky and ugly. Why couldn’t it just be one solid color on the outside? The red interior is already hard to find and then super expensive.
Dude if only we could see more of d vehicle rather dan just ur handsome Face!! In sun glasses!! Mehn!! Cool commentary tho but more views on d car would v bin very nice! Like d back seats d boot d rear of d car and even d controls on d dash!! Thanks..
It comes with some tint but it’s not noticeable. What I did to my 2018 was add tint and it’s beautiful. 35 in the front and 20 in the back is my Camry now.
I don't like the delay on the throttle in new cars and the sensitivity in them. I'm use to throttle body and carberuetors. Lol Like my older model chevys and hondas. Edit: jax on animal planet, ill watch that. Lol
I hear that! I think many auto transmissions make it far worse as well, with delayed downshifts in favor of fuel economy. It sucks a lot of the pick up out of the engine. If this car had a manual, it would be very interesting... 😎
Its all in the programming and the Camry has a delay for sure with aggressive driving style. My 2010 Tundra drives like it has a cable with zero lag.Hoping for a reflash for the Camry drive by wire in the future...
Here’s the thing: if people were being honest with themselves, they’d take the Camry. It’s fast enough, has better tech, and will be faultlessly reliable over its ownership experience. But many people are too insecure to make that decision. 😉👍🏻
JAX thanks ! I was thinking in buy Charger RT but I heard so many problems with dodge , I believe I will buy the Camry TRD Toyota is more reliable brand ! Thanks
Yeah choose the Camry. I have a 2010 V6 SE and have had zero problems with it. Did some simple mods intake, throttle body spacer, muffler delete, lowering springs, wheels, brake kit, and stage one tune and the thing continues to impress
Silver N Black Mopar Saying the most historically reliable brand is probably more reliable is being a fanboy? Ok. Even though if it were my money I'd buy the Accord 2.0 all day every day (which I said in the review).
