For people who knows Dumaguete - Bacolod route. On full tank, we drove from Dgte to Bcd via Mabinay. We spent 4 days there, driving around the city though short distance only but with heavy traffic kasi Christmas. Then we also went to Campuestohan and The Ruin. On the 4th day we're leaving Bcd, the only time I refueled, I only spent p1,200 worth of diesel fuel @36pesos per liter to have it full tank again. The conquest 2.4l engine with 137hp and 400NM T, come on Toyota Join the technology race!! I would love to see the Raptor on it's natural environment (off Road) on your next Review

I’d like to hear you point out the cons, too-makes a review more credible, like that cheap looking seat cover you almost see on taxis, so-so interior trim and boring interior color. Or that (as another one pointed out) its another Hilux with kit slapped onto it. This gives Toyota and other car manufacturers an honest feedback, instead of sounding too patronizing of an obviously iffy product. Toyota should return more value to its loyal following by including more premium stuff-instead of merely sending us another vehicle kitted out. No question on its reliability and resale value, sure. But the rest of its features ...meh, Toyota.

For a TOPTL 4x4 manual model, one would expect leather & powered seats, rear view camera, 6-airbags, traction control, stability control, hill start assist, brake assist.. It is missing!

Hi Sir Patrick! Great review! But im just gonna add. Madami kasi nagsasabi na its still the same hilux. Nilagyan lang ng body kit, face lift, same tires as the fortuner, etc etc. I want to know if its still a good buy considering it a few hundred thousands more?

If they add a rear back up camera on this hilux conquest, it would be more awesome for us..

I think the difference between the current hilux is the front facsia,headlights and acessories only

Panis ang Hilux sa Raptor ang layo! Pag na-try mo i-drive ang Raptor at dati kang gumagamit ng Hilux magugulat ka sa laki ng kaibahan. Ang Raptor tahimik walang vibration at pag diniin mo ang accelerator para kang sinisibat sa biglaang tulin parang gasoline engine ang bi-turbo sa tulin at response. Yung suspension ng Raptor grabe kaswabe kahit gutter or curb or yung center island sa kalye sisiw kayang akyatin ng walang kahirap-hirap. Yung ibang pick up di mo mapapatalon sa ramp or big humps kasi mababali o mapuputol ang pang ilalim ang Raptor nakadesign sa ganung punishment. Parang kotse ang ride ng Raptor di mo akalain pickup sinasakyan mo. Galing ng Fox shocks Yung manibela ng Raptor parang sports car na napakagaan i-drive compare sa mga Japanese car na til now power steering pa rin not electic assisted.
