so i have or had the same problem with the seat. i was placing my right hand in that spot to push off and stand. i had a local business pull the cover and resew it stronger. been trouble free for years, of course i also stopped pushing off there. my inner fenders were starting to look like swiss cheese. it was worse on the middle and rear mounting bolts. i made some aluminum spacers to get the wet carpet off the steel fender. also had to replace my inner seal on the hubs. mine may not be as bad as yours with the wheel issue, but mine do wear on the inside so therefore i rotate every 6 months. good luck, and thanks
Those are excellent comments, thank you. Since I made that video, I have replaced the axle completely but my seat is still torn and slowly getting worse. Maybe I should take it and have it repaired like you did.
I lost a little bit of speed by lightening the load and using Lithiums but even at its very best the highest I ever saw was about 46 maybe. I can get 43 pretty consistent
