He sighed heavily and said that he chooses stelena becuz the man is soo sick of the Delena fanbase cuz they made his life, his wife's and baby's life a living hell by contantly attacking them on social media just because of delena ship or lets say him and nina has broken up. Keep in mind the reason why he is not active on social media like he used to before is yall toxic Nian/Delena fans. Yall spam his comment sections with soo much hatred and rude comments about him and his wife. He said its actually ridiculous people still ship him with a fictional TV character or LEGIT hope that he would get back together with his ex-girlfriend, nina all while he has a wife and a child. He said maybe those people aren't mature n smart enough to differentiate btwn real life and TV/ex. So yea, delena/tvd fans , Respect the harsh reality that ian X nina is over, seriously! its been 7 yrs since they broke up! move on and pls respect the man, he's 40, happily married, with an adorable 3 year old daughter.

don't skip the part when he said he shipped delena like crazy..... so the only reason for him choosing stelena over delena was because it's easy for his life, he thinks only delena fans ship nian, but truth is most of the tvd fans ship nian including stelans, so his reason has nothing to do with the show.
@@surbhipatel2632 and don't forget to watch the other interviews where he raised questions like "why would a girl choose a guy who killed her brother?" Etc. Ian always said that he didn't like delena and he thought that she should've ended up with Stefan instead. He has so many reasons to dislike delena and it's not just the crazy 13 yr old delena fans.
they were supposed to in season 6 but then Nina left the show. So then they asked Nina to come back so they can reunite Stelena in season 8 but she came back for only one episode :(
Ian used to ship delena. Until fans go crazy and started making threats towards his wife. Its just so unfair. Thanks to all fans who ruined a beautiful friendship between Ian and Nina just cuz you can't separate reality from fiction......

He's right about the Delena "fans". If you "fans" would move the fuck on and deal with the fact that he and Nina aren't together anymore, he wouldn't hate the Delena "fans".
