Great video Kris. LOVED the landscapes and enjoyed the good talk. I felt myself seated in the passenger seat enjoying your opinion and the travel. Your fans love this kind of video.👍I know because i am one of them 😉☺ p.s.: I would go for the D5,just like i did with my brand-new XC60,even if the D4 polestar tune ,200 hp and 440nm is also an excellent choice and for sure more efficient than the D5 and also a little more performing car than the regular D4. Even so in my country makes totally sense to buy a Diesel.I understand what Kris means and for sure petrol volvos are more smooth more refined and have less engine noise.

Excellent video Kris, I agree that if you want better refinement then go for the gas engine, I know most diesel fans would be more than happy with the one you are driving, but I must concur about Volvo diesel engines are not the most refined, my D5 V70 (5 pot) has a lot of droning at low speeds, and idling !! drives me mad, especially in the winter, when the engine is cold, even worse ! But maybe the diesel engine would be better suited to a lower spec version, such as the Momentum, where maybe you don't have such high expectations as you do buying the top of the range model !!! just a thought. I would buy the gas version for another reason too, because here in the UK diesels are suffering a huge drop in popularity, due to legislation and pollution fears, so the resale values will plummet in the coming years, most big cities here in the UK will be banning diesel powered cars in the city centres.
