Good to know the anime wasn't over exaggerating...... They do almost fold themselves 😫😫. I salute all of you guys who do ballroom dancing!!! Keep doing what you guys love most and I wish you luck 😄
tbh i also ended up here bc i got curious as to how ballroom dancing is irl compared to the anime however the italian duo (no7) i couldn't keep my eyes off of them the entire time they're really amazing
Italy had it all: the style, the technique, the flair, and beautiful, beautiful lines. They were also so dynamic. You can see that they work well as couple and completely love doing Standard. Congratulations!
OMG anime really teaching me a lot about this world , basketball , volleyball , swimming , ice skating , science , acting , animal farming , manga making , writing , medicine , history , myths , equestrian , pets and here i am learning more about ballroom dancing , aaah anime is really a thing !
That was heart warming, all couples were beautiful, but although i have no expert in the ballroom dancing and it's roles i was able to tell the Italian couple was the best without having a second thoughts, each time they start dancing i could tell they will rank nomber 1, this just proves that what is beautiful and professional doesn't need an expert eye to know and feel it..
22:16 My eye caught of how good that quickstep was. But somehow i still preffered the Italy Quickstep. Both caught my eye becuz of how beautiful the Twirl was as always. The Twirls were my favorite in Quicksteps and in Ballroom dances
yeah, I don't know what that move is called... but when they flick their legs up like that. Its so COOOL! Maybe its called a "ronde" I think from ballroom e youkoso
That beautiful. Wanted to see real Dancesport. And i'm not sad to see that the anime overexagerate. Indeed he don't! The more i discover about this world, the more i wish that the mangaka get better so he can deliver us the rest of the story! And congrat. Congrat to all those amazing people doing this, because i could only said that i was thankful to be able to see that.
I always wanted to be a ballroom dancer but my mother said it was nothing worth bragging about to her friends, so I wasn’t allowed to do it. So now, I just watch competitions.
Start even if you don't have a partener. Believe me. I had one and he left me. When I had to go to a competition alone it felt horrible and I gave up. then covid came And i dont regret a decision more than that one. Begin, learn give your best and eventually you'll love dancing more and more like i did. After all there should be someone looking for a partener out there! Good luck and lots of love
I wish ballroom dancing was mainstream THIS IS SO COOL!!! And yes I did come from the anime (only got to watch a few episodes) Edit: as a dancer (contemporary jazz&lyrical) it annoys me when they clap and the dance isn't over, it's probably a ballroom thing I don't get yet
I actually saw reference to Ballroom e Youkoso in another video like this somewhere else, then watched it for the first time XD I want another season dadgumit.
I didn't came from ballroom e youkoso, I'm a ballroom dancer, I did ballroom in my 4 years in high school, and it's something wonderful, I couldn't go to competition due to covid, I really miss dancing and going to competition
Sì anche io sono qui dopo aver visto dance ballroom ma vogliamo parlare degli italiani!! Sono una potenza!!! Hanno pure vinto!!! Italiani fatevi sentire!!
Lovely, such skill!👏👏👏🌹 Greetings from Sweden, I've danced socially for many years here in Sweden.🇸🇪 12:53 ouch! The Italians were the best, thar said I couldn't hold a candle to anyone of the dancers! Loved the Italian's foxtrot, so smooth so in sync! Her outfit was gorgeous the colours and that it looked like a dress but was a pantsuit! I loved the Candian's quickstep though!
The best performance was the Italian winners in quickstep. Yet even this quickstep, is by far not so good as Evgeny Nikitin and Anastasia, who did not participate, or Evaldas and leva, who did not compete either, who are experts in quickstep. None of the foxtrot performances was world class, no smoothness, inperfect technique and timing. And, most surprisingly, even the honour dance waltz by the Italian winners, was very sadly a failure, a hard waltz with no softness and no perfect timing and musicality. Evaldas and leva danced one thousand times better waltz, in Bucharest last week, in their honour dance, a splendid musical artistry and unique timing.
Wow, I don't know anything about dancing, but I've learned a little bit of music and I can see a little of what you are talking about. In the fasting tempo, they're kind of struggling with the tempo and their steps are a bit messy from what I can tell. Thanks for the recommendations! :)
This is what I see when I scrolled through the comments: People who are into ballroom dancing and maybe even do it < People who came here because of Ballroom e Youkoso
Le viste singolarmente possono essere valutate meglio per il lavoro svolto e per l'esibizione realizzata. Diventa anche uno spettacolo nella gara...Per dei campionati del mondo ci può stare...Complimenti...anche se si può sempre migliorare...
Just as the other weebs, I'm here because of the anime lol. The Canadian pair reminds me of the MC and his partner (Chizuru?). He's struggling to get a hold of the woman who is bigger framed than him. It's a mismatch, personally. Also, the quickstep seems to favor smaller framed dancers like the Italian pair while the slower ones favor people with sturdy bodies with elegant posture. And here comes the issue with the Canadian mismatched pair, the dude actually did well but his partner can't keep up during the quickstep. Hence, it was reflected in the result with that extreme variation of scores. But what do I know, I just learned a little from an anime lol.
Cmc123 When my dance partner wears pants she dances much for freely than when wearing a dress, she doesn’t think she dances differently but there is a difference.
@@peterbeyer5755 Ive never seen them on this level/for standard! I think that's awesome, and gives a cool option for follows! I know I've practiced in pants before when we need to work on something technical, but its cool to see pants that mimic a dress
