Simple install of my Gopro 7 camera using the exsiting multifunction mounting plate and a 1" B-size ball from RAM Mounts.
Edited to add: Mounting the GoPro on to the Yamaha does limit your recording angle, I have since switched to a helmet mount camera for a better POV shot.

Hey there, just wondering if you know which RAM part number you used for the base? They do several different 1" ball bases like that with different thread sizes and pitches, so just trying to work out exactly which one you used

It's the 1" ball with the camera mounting screw, you can find it easily on Amazon for ten dollars by typing those keywords.

no Master I don’t have one mounted on mine but from what I’ve seen it’s on the lower right hand side of the transom next to the boarding ladder.

Where can you purchase that same base mount for the other side instead of the cup holder ?

The base plate is available through any Yamaha dealer or parts distributer. If I remember correctly the part costs around $7.09 for the plate. www.yamahapartspro.com/oemparts/p/yamaha/f3x-ue175-00-00/fix-plate

@@charliemando6817 I eventually went with size C because the smaller ball was not enough to support the weight of the Garmin 64cv. www.rammount.com/part/RAM-111U-B But in this video the ball mount is the smaller B size ball that I use for my GoPro 7.
