Yamaha FZ 150s are grossly underrated by the experts.. The FZV3 packs Best in class quality, best in class NVH, Best in class comfort (even for taller riders), Best in class Fuel efficiency!!.. It's a decent performer unlike what it's power figure says.. every bit of that 13.2Ps is delivered to that rear tyre literally!!. Very good handling, Looks superb overall.. The cheapest 150cc bike with future ready Fi!.. What more do you want?.. Also for ppl who say V1 was the fastest.. It's been proven time n again that all versions packed the same 0-100 genuine figure of 20+ secs! with same 118-120 top speed on the meter at the limit!.. V2 n V3 have additionally improved on fuel efficiency due to Blue core tech n Fi.. it's a perfect city bike being safe, stable, lightest bike in the class..
How long have you been using the bike as there is soo much negative comments and videos made about the bike ... What's ur experience? Mileage? Overall performance?
I don't know but I still advice people to go an buy CB Unicorn 150. I know it has been in market for century now😅😅 just kidding.. But I own one and it is super refined, low maintenance great milage of 50-60.
Yamaha has become complacent with the taste of success that they have had with this bike. I still own the original 2009 FZ16 and its been a gem of a bike. Though today if i wanted to look out for a new bike, it surely won't be anything from the Yamaha range. The ideal Step up would have been MT15 but its too overpriced. Would happily go with Suzuki Gixxer 250
@@abhi13888 Correct my dear friend. But here is what Gixxer gives more ever and above what FZ25 offers. A 6 speed gear box as compared to 5 on FZ25. An oil Cooled Engine (which is an absolute boon for the hot climate we have) Dual channel ABS. And this is a personal choice but the Colour Temp on Gixxer LED's are far better than FZ's. That Extra 26k is justified for the equipment we get. Also, all those are the exact requirements for my next bike.
@@JayanandSupaliAgreed. My question to yamaha is why hve they produced so underpowered 250cc bike with no abs and no 6th gear. I think their concept have failed miserably. Also honda is lacking in 250 seg. Those were my points. I hope yamaha and honda guys listen to our conversation. Cheers mate

If you live in a hilly area like me just go for it. It has ample amount of torque and the less power factor doesn't really bother you bcz of the terrain and traffic. It's a great commuter. My friend has a r15 v3 but he loves it's comfort.
35-40 ?? Seriously !! I takes milage of 50 from my FZ , but i maintains my bike very well , like chain clean & lube after every 800-900 km , and I always filled extra premium patrol , never simple one , & services always in time never delays 👍👍
Bro... Sorry if I'm wrong.. I think Apache rtr160 fi ( limited edition) orange and yellow was launched at 2009-2010 period.... Those wer the first to introduce FI in this segment

This mileage figures are wrong. It totally depends on your riding style. I own an FZS V3 and after first service I am easily getting mileage around 45kmpl to 48 kmpl.

@@vetrivel1994 yep...i'm a hornet owner but i sill prefer the really fun to ride bike in the segment Gixxer 😍....hornet is lazy at lower end the engine wokes up only after 4K rpm....but gixxers power will come from really low rpm
Neither are better commuters. Infact Hornet is lot better than 2 with better FE, kick starter, better seat for commuting. To be precise hornet, fz or gixxer cant be true commuters with lesser turning radius, lesser flickability and you will be tired if you are planning to commute more in tight lanes or traffic. Pulsar 150(Not UG5), Yamaha SZ RR, Unicorn 160(yes not Uni 150) are lot lot better for commuting without making you tired in long run. They also have enough grunt to go head to head with above mentioned bikes. Only bike that sits in between is Pulsar 160 NS. But that too cant be used long commutes as its pillion seat is compromised.
Yamaha needs to start mass production of their newer bikes and do what they have to do to make them low cost if they don't want to turn into what Honda has become. No one in the right mind is going to pay 160K for a 150 cc bike
No there's a new cafe racer type bike xsr155 launched in east Asia that's rumoured to cost around 1.6 lakhs in India. As of now , many people still find the price of the MT15 and R15v3 to be very overpriced
