(2019 ZX6R 636)::Hey man my buddy put aftermarket brake/clutch levers, and grips, I believe he adjusted throttle cable, now the bike idles low af on cold start and dies. When we tried adjusting the idle the cable turns with the knurled black knob. Can you recommend a fix for throttle cable adjustment and idle?
Two things. First the shift speeds in the manual are written by nuns that retired from teaching catholic school. I believe they were written by the factory to cover themselves for liability. I've found a lot of things in the manuals and in the ECU's, basically, are there to keep new riders alive long enough to learn how to ride. The other thing is that if you are going to race the bike or want to get full performance out of the bike, the factory break-in recommendations have no basis in reality. The performance break ins seem somewhat brutal to an average rider.
Hey man can you show where the fuse box for the horn on this thing is located. My horn went out a couple days ago and I have no idea hot to access the fuse box.
Hey, its funny you said that, i actually just received a letter in the mail saying they are recalling the horns on this model because of the vibration when you ride over time will effect the bracket which ultimately makes the horn fall off or stop working. It is fully covered by kawasaki, I would check to see if that could be the issue, i will post a video when i have mine redone when it gets a little warmer here in ny, good luck! 🤙🏼
Blaine Houser Definitely, im actually going to make a video on that shortly, i am actually an insurance agent. Definitely have full coverage and make some adjustments during the winter to reduce coverage and save money, the video will be up this weekend but definitely full coverage while im riding.
Awesome! I’m 62 Years old. No tickets. I had the check in my hand for my new 2020 636 KTR. Last minute called my insurance agent. Shelter Insurance. Was told they would go through Progressive. 1600 a Year! For Full Coverage???!!! Went back to dealership. Financed through Sheffield. They don’t require Full-coverage. My state Arkansas Does on any vehicle financed. So for 10$ a month I have Legal Insurance only! Scary as Crap! Hop you have some tips for affordable Full coverage?!
@@blainehouser4354 Thats crazy, definitely way to much and of course its a brand new bike you should definitely have full coverage. I am going to post some info and tips on the video tonight specifically on motorcycle insurance, it should help
Next time, call the actual insurance Co, instead of a shitty 3rd party.. i have full coverage on a ‘23 636 and Im 32 and have had many tickets. I pay $98 per month with a low deductible of $500

I am getting a warning light, but unable to pull up codes. When i press both buttons together im just getting the time adjustment. Also letting to u know that the quick shifter isn't working. Will the warning light have anything to do with the quick shifter.

I am going to be uploading an exhaust video in the near future🤙🏼 My opinion with both money and performance in mind the M4 street slayer full exhaust would be the best and most affordable for a full but you will beed to someway flash the ecu at the same time or I like the graves slip on, I think it looks cool and not to expensive, Any other questions let me know💨💨🤙🏼
@@Deanoo-jc4ed i didn't know about gp shifting till i rode a r6 with gp and it kinda threw me off a lil bit,then i saw another vid on a 19 zx6r and he said his bike had gp shifting so i didn't know if the manufacturer made it stock like that for certian bikes or it was interchangeable,thats why i waa asking but yea now iknow you can change it to gp,had me worried cous this 19 zx gonna be my next bike and i preferred standard shifting over gp,just what im used to
D Boi yeah i feel you, i only really heard of gp shifting one other time, i just started looking into it a little bit when you brought it up.. the bike does have a quick shifter so you can shift up with out the clutch but not down and that comes stock which is much different then most other bikes.. really good bike, its real light and has good power, built well. Saif Kiani Thats what im really leaning towards my brotha, I think im going to do the m4 street slayer full exhaust.. for the price its only a little but more then the slip ons out there.. i would assume i would need a power commander also but i think thats the move, appreciate it
pravesh736 You read my mind, I think I am going to do a full system w/ a flash, I was looking into purchasing a dyno jet to flash the ecu.. but your right, the overall increased performance you get opposed to a slip on is incomparable..
Dude I bought the white 2021 zx6r and my dealer hear in va told me to send that bitch off the lot and I was nervous about it but after going by the shift manual for about 400 miles my body couldn’t resist the erge any longer I had to feel the so claimed 175mph Kawasaki rates the bike at immediately after hitting the throttle and hitting 135mph barely into it a red light starts flashing at the bottom of my console it’s the low oil pressure sensor light I knew right then that the Kawasaki manual was written by a fucking KAREN .........Kawasaki Karen sent me another booklet with my manual and if I could post pics it’s hilarious it’s a picture book with comic bubbles in it telling bikers how to drive
