I have a 2015 audi a3 2.0t quattro, full bolt ons, stage 2 tune, completely modified suspension wheels etc.. and I LOVE this car, I get looks everywhere I go and the car puts a BIG smile on my face every time I floor it. I would definitely recommend this car to whoever wants a solid platform for modifications and performance. My next car is an Audi RS3 for sure though.
I said this here before. The A3 kind of can't be touted up enough. I LOVE mine and I can't see parting with it. If you love small, sporty cars, this is it. Audi nailed this a while ago. Brilliant car, brilliant company and I will buy another Audi. And no, no one is paying me. :)
I play hockey and one of my teammates has a Q7. He also has three kids. He saw my A3 and said. "Once the kids are out of the house.." :) They really are fun.
@@Florida_954 I don't need the kind of space that the Stinger provides, it's like I'm inviting my friends to hop in my car for rides lol. The power you get in the A3 compared to its size and weight is really good. The A3 also gets a dual-clutch transmission vs. the standard automatic in the Stinger which shifts less aggressively. Audi's customer service and dealer experience in general is also much better-- I hear pretty lousy things about Kia's. Both cars are good but it's not like it's a no-brainer to go with the Stinger. Personally I'd choose the A3.
B Vedant well the audi has been using the same model for the a3, stinger provides a fresh feel and a good new look. To me it would be a no brainer to go with the stinger but to each their own.
I had 2016 A3 and currently have 2019 A3 quattro. I stick to A3 model because of the dashboard/cockpit design, lol. Will trade in my current 2019 A3 with the A4/A5 model soon. I wish they can put the A3 dashboard/cockpit design to the A4/A5. I just love the clean line dashboard on the A3.
Howdy, great review as always! The A3 is actually my favorite Audi! I’ve been laughing for a good 3 minutes at the Apple Lightning Competitors! Also, just curious, how is Mason’s Elantra doing?😸😻
A3 is more sporty and personally it's more fun . Fun little car just as fast as an A4 . Great performance and little engine . Best 4 cylinders on the market
I have a 2016 a3 and love it! The switchblade key is also used to adjust your back head rests to move up and down. It's really tight in getting the key to fit in, which I don't like at all. More difficult than it should be.
Hey boys, there is no reason to get an A3 with Quattro. A3's can only use Haldex, which means day to day, you're using front wheel drive, unless the computer says you need AWD. A3's have never been able to be truly quattro all wheel drive because of their size. That's not necessarily a bad thing. I would just stick to the front wheel drive package. There's simply no need for AWD in such a small car with such a good engine. I've driven both and skipped the quattro with the A3. That's not a criticism, that's just practical and realistic. If I had anything above the A3, I would insist on quattro. The A3 simply just does not need it. The car is literally that good. I have had my 2015 since she was born. And they just might bury me in it. ;) I have only replaced the battery in that 5 years. Other than regular maintenance, I have spent nothing. Excellent car, probably the best I have ever owned.
Great review as always while sporting your athleisure wear gentleman! Great reviews in comfort! 😄 Audi sure knows how to make a minimalist tech driven torque dream machine 😍. Yet, I rather have your model 3 anyday 😄. Love your Adidas Mason!! 😎👍
“The thing about these Audi A3’s is.. there kind of like a 3 year old, in that they can be a lot of maintenance and you may get frustrated at times with them but.. if someone ever tried taking it away from you, you’d kill them”
I feel bad for whoever will end up with my 2017. I am leasing a premium plus A3 that has every option you could add on without going up to prestige. It’s a fun little car, but that’s where it ends. I have never had so many issues with a car. Smart entry works, but doesn’t recognize the keys to start all the time. Constant ignition errors. The transmission slams hard into gear sometimes. Or sometimes won’t shift at all. Have had to pull over on the side of the road because it gets stuck in gear. The “aluminum trim” is peeling up in places....because it’s a sticker. My wonderful b&o sound system has something that comes loose about every 10 days after they glue it back on. So you have this rattle at all volumes. Cup holders are a joke too, but everyone already knows that. First, and last Audi I’ll have. It’s unfortunate, because I would have gotten a higher level car next. So... I’d wait until they redo the car completely if you’re considering it.
Sorry to hear that. Good thing you have a lease. I have a 2017 A3 prem plus as well. No major issues. One time, the sunroof malfunctioned which the dealer fixed. But I don't have any issues described above. I don't have the B&O system however, but the normal sound system has been fine so far.
Please do a test of the 2019 VW Arteon 4MOTION R-Line (love mine). I also thought the A3 2.0T Quattro is 5.4s 0-60 from launch control, per Audi website.
Upon launch control press the peddle all the way down till u feel a click and launch. It is 5.4 seconds on aggressive launch or else 5.8 non launch. Its a heck of a quick package
Audi never updated the keyfob at all with the A3. Screams Volkswagen and is super off-brand IMO for Audi. The keys should all be similar (look at Mercedes).
Can anyone help with when it says “navigation system not installed” when I press Nav So unfortunately I’m unable to look at maps on the display :( 2017 A3
Hi. Just wanted to ask if you got the 1000 free supercharger miles from the sale of my model 3? Sorry for asking on this video but I wasn’t able to reach you on your old model 3 videos. Thanks.
@@CarConfections Thanks! I'm just loving it so far! Also I was worried about the stereo not being good but its excellent even without immersive sound 😁👍
@@CarConfections Glad you got your free super charging miles! The foot rest next to the accelerator pedal? Is yours just cloth and not rubber? Cant understand why they didnt make that rubber like all the Model 3's.
@@CarConfections oh and one more thing my car came with old software. 2019.35. They said at Tesla it would update and so far nothing after 5 days over my home wifi. 🙄
@@jamespeterson7100 Yes, ours is the same way. It is odd. We might see if we can't get a piece of rubber to put there or an all weather mat. In regards to the software update, they usually come in without rhime or reason. But you can always give the Tesla store a quick call and they can check remotely
