2020 Barbie Fashionista Wave 2 Unboxing and Review ( 

You know youre (Barbie) stuff girl....one of the few people on youtube who really explains of the face molds and body type.

Love your videos so far! They are very easy going and I love hearing you talk about the dolls and thoughts as you unbox them. Especially the face molds, plenty of reviewers just kinda talk the face value of the doll and never get into the little details not everyone will notice or appreciate.

Please continue making these Barbie Fashionista series... your videos are very in-depth especially with the skin tones and face molds, great for those who want to customize their dolls (me 😅). You earn a sub from me..

I do not like the blue lips on the fashionista with the afro, but I like her. I did realize while watching your video, that I never see the blonde/White dolls with blue and strange bright colored lipstick, but Mattel ONLY does this to the darker skinned dolls, and pretty much only the darkest of them. This mirrors my EXPERIENCE workimg on tv shows in Hollywood. I was the only Black female background actor on American Dreams once. I loved dressing up in 60s hair and makeup, and bringing my own wig for the hair lady to style. She was so cool & had been doing hair in Hollywood for 50+ years. They were so excited to do my makeup & put blue eyeshadow on me. I liked it, I was acting after all, so role play was fun. However, I did realize when I got to set, that I was the ONLY person whose makeup they had used such bright colors on. I wondered if they had a fascination with painting black people brightly, or if they thought bright colors didnt look good on pale skin? I felt like I was the new doll that they wanted to try the neon pallette on. This wouldnt have been so notable in my memory if this didnt happen on more than one shoot with different makeup/ hair depts. They did it to me on that 80s show too! 😂 I looked like a cupie doll with an ice cream colored mohawk. The stylist was drawing everyones attention to my gravity defying hair that didnt need mouse to stand up! She was playing in it in a room full of people. 😂😳 I really think Mattell has the same fascination with bright colored lips on brown dolls. Am I the only one to notice this? I prefer the more subtle lips. Ill likely use a qtip to remove the blue lips. I really like the brown curvy fashionista with the straight orange hair.

I recently picked up 161 and YES there were quite a few with wonky eyes.

When I first saw Barbie fashionista can 163, I disliked him so much. I did not like his outfit I absolutely did not like his body sculpt, because they are very difficult to find clothing for. However when Barbie fashionista Ken doll 166 came out I realized I could swap his body. So, I did !!! Since he has a very young 20s look to him, I’m going to make him one of the college frat boys than I have in my story line. I’m also thinking of getting a second one of him and darkening his hair, so that I could have a more attractive older looking guy.

Kind of a gross tip but... For the fasteners in their heads, don't cut them, just grab them with your two front teeth and then pull, they will come out whole.
