I don’t think the Mulsanne sold as well as the Rolls Royce Ghost or Phantom... very regrettable as I think it’s a beautifully designed car inside and out. Also, the V8 was seen as underpowered compared to Rolls Royce’s V12. Bentley killed the Mulsanne the moment it launched the Bentayga (which I personally find very ugly), selling huge amounts in their Asian and Arab markets. The Mulsanne EWB is out of this world - a private jet on wheels!
Really sad that you did not explore the functionality of the rear seat. This is so much better than any other limousine on the market. Rolls Royce were furious when the vehicle was released as their engineers said the seat couldn’t be done.
The only way that'd be possible is if you or other people who love it as much as you do went out and bought one. Unfortunately, the people with the most money usually have the least amount of good taste, and that's why it's going out of production. There just isn't a market for it, they're all buying flashier cars. It's very sad to see it go, and even more sad that the average Joes like you and I have no say in it. If I had the money, I would definitely buy one.
This car gives me nightmares to this day..... so what had happened was, I needed to go shopping for new clothes and get some groceries. while I was heading to the mall I was on a phone call with my friend using the car's Bluetooth system. I needed to adjust the volume so I went into the infotainment system and didn't really pay attention to the road and guess what happened.... I rear-ended a 2019 Bentley Mulsanne speed 🤦♂️ I am very grateful that I was insured because I did a lot of damage. This car is a beauty! Moral of the story: pay attention to the road.
You have just made my point about most cars. The more you pay the more gadgets you get and the more complicated they come. I hate the modern infotainment set ups in cars today, just give me a button. I love simplicity and only want to pay for what I can use. Which happens to be very little that they are selling in many overengineered cars on the road to day. V12's V8's and all that speed stuff is to me like buying a speed boat for a swimming pool. I just want luxuriousness and comfort with adequate power. I am a fast drive but I can't even get the performance out of my small cheap cars never mind my fast Jaguar XJ. Anyway I don't have the skill to drive any faster because driving really fast is an art and one has to practice that art all the time or one looses the skill. So I understand what happened to you. Modern unnecessary technology. It's just to sell more cars to the Juvenile mentality and those who just don't know any better.
Bentley cars have been the king of the luxury cars productions until the beginning of the year 2019. Gradually her competitors are stealing their exterior design( Bentley Flying Spur) when Bentley is abandoning her adorable exterior design
@@Spiritofexquisit The Phantom has lots of gimmicks but doesn't hold its value. It is for the new money show off who wants to let people see what money and no taste can buy. The Bentley is more refined and of the traditional Rolls Royce owners that I know, and I include myself, none would touch anything in the ghastly, vulgar Rolls Royce range.

With hope once completely viable electric vehicles are available Bentley will return with another Mulsanne. A full sized luxury car is beautiful but a formal, majestically sized car sets the luxury standard and an electric Mulsanne would be powerful and truly silent.
im buying a black Mulsanne EWB with beluga interior and dark stained burr walnut veneer accents. its disappointing that they are not building new models in the future. The Mulsanne will be discontinued

I tried Bentley and RR before and needed up buying MB Maybach for best price-performance ratio. However, Bentley or RR have outstanding hand-craftsmanship.
