2020 BMW 330i Review. Does it live up to the 3 series name? 

I’m about to get this car but ( used ) 2021. I’ve sold BMW’s for about 7 years and I’ll tell you that car is hard to beat. Very reliable, fast, lots of torque at lower rpm etc. great all around car.

The last time I drove a 3 series it was a 1995/96 328i auto. I thought at the time that it was a superb motor, but I recently got the chance to use a 330i and it felt more like a 5 series. I know it’s all relevant, and models have evolved into the car a level above, but twenty odd years has made a huge difference in regards to ride, performance and the obvious gadgets, and driver assist features. The S class I currently own has more technology and processing power than NASA used in Apollo 13, crazy!

I have this car and as a bmw fan I really love my “like city car” as you named it which is a perfect way to describe it. I text drove the Audi A5 and that one was much faster being a 6 cylinder engine but at the end of the day the styling the interior the rear wheel drive and the luxurious feeling bmw gives off had me go with this little guy. Mine has the M sports package and honestly for anyone considering this car I would most definitely get that, the car looks better and the suspension is fantastic needless to say this car is great 👍 I paid 50k for mines here in California 😉

You don't need the app for the remote start. I have the 330xi 2020 and you press the lock button 3 times and hold for 5 seconds on the third press and it starts the car.

Why don't they make the interior JET black like the old days ? It's looks way cooler and sharp then the greyish black ?? Can anyone comment ?

Just bought this car used with 42K miles on it - It came with the remote start package and you simply tap the lock button 3 times and hold on the last press to remote start. AMAZING!

Ive got a 330i 2020, wanted the m340i but do too many miles so protecting my wallet. It’s quick not fast but it drives beautifully compared to the 330d f30 which I had. Driving this has made me never want a diesel again it’s so smooth. Definitely miss the extra 2 cylinders though. Also Uk models are quiet, virtually no exhaust sound due to legislation. Very happy with it as a daily driving commuting to work

Great vid, I currently have it as a rental ,the shifting was very confusing. Thanks for the input on Sport mode, which shuts the stop/start option, so annoying!

Please research before you do a review I have a 330i xdrive and yes you do download an app but you can also triple tap that middle button and it’s a remote start
