Well balanced car. Great size for 4 people, sporty when you want it to be and comfortable when you want it to be. Very quiet on the highway. The E90 335i M Sport will always have a place in my heart but this G20 style is definitely tempting.
4:21 Ah, the worst of both worlds. Punishes you for getting near that 7000 RPM rev limit by closing the throttle. If BMW had just gone with a hardcut limiter instead of a soft cut, you'd be able to shift later. Minor nitpick, but a nitpick nevertheless
Hey, Do you think the adaptive suspension is worth the price tag? In the video, the car seemed to be quite bumpy even in the comfort drive mode. How comfortable was it compared to like BMW's flagship sedan, The 7 series suspension?

2:50-2:55 At low rpm's what is that noise? I just bought this car and it is driving me crazy. Took it to two dealers, they keep saying it is normal. But I've never heard any car make this type of noise. It is not a turbo or forced induction noise it more sounds like belt, pulley or tensioner type noise. Drives me crazy
Sometimes I think that tachometers are kind of fake: I think that when shifting especially in manual mode or when driving aggressively, they move too fast up and down: look at 4:20 and you'll notice that the tachometer goes down even before the engine sound does. I noticed this in my car which definitely doesn't have the fastest transmission in the world, but shows lightning upshifts on the tachometer, while I can clearly feel and hear the engine go down after the RPM gauge did... and definitely not as fast.
Particulate filters make me so sad. All 2020 cars sound so muffled (aside from the F type i suppose, that thing is still roaring). By 2030, I wonder if we will even have European sports sedans or coupes meant for the everyday man's price tag to even have engines anymore. (the answer is likely not, at least not at a price tag for the normal folks.I'm hoping at least Ferrari, Lambo, and Porsche will still retain a proper engined model, say the GT3 series, to still have an engine by the time that time period rolls around)
It honestly sounds better in comfort or eco mode because it doesn't make as much fake sound. I think getting off the highway I have it in comfort, can't remember for sure though.
@@domtorque lol no. The engines are better than ever it's everything else like handling and gesture controls.... the n54 and b58 are both incredibly smooth and powerful
@@papa_pt If seen the B7 on the US configurator which is odd since they are just a tuner of BMW cars. The Alpina website doesn't even show the US so that might also confirm it. I'm more interested in the B3 Touring but wagons are so rare in the US that that model probably won't even be sold if the B3 comes to the US.
@@imnotusingmyrealname4566 yup I got an e61 love wagons. I don't think Alpina is just a tuner....the cars are actually registered as Alpinas not BMW's! Sorta like Porsche and RUF but not as crazy. I get what you are saying though. The B7 is all the US gets
Hello, how can we set the buttons hidden automatically after some seconds on Navigation/Map screen? My left and right buttons always seems and i want to have them also auto hide like this car?
Look at what they’re doing with the new 4 series. But with that you have people complaining that the styling is too brash and over the top. They can’t please everyone.
