Definitely worth getting one with a few miles. No need to spend the extra 20k on a new one when it’s gonna drop in value when you drive it. Or leasing but then no mods. I’d only buy a new BMW if it’s something I’d never sell (which is hard to find now)

@@WindyCity1992 take a gt500 vs redeye as an example. Both are heavy as well. The gt500 is only 100-200 lbs lighter than a redeye and is down in power and torque. With that being said, it shouldn’t pull away from a redeye that hard

With the engine technology available in this day and age, engine size really doesnt matter all that much except if they are both NA, which they arent. Today it's all about how much boost you are running. This BMW would have lost to a 4 cylinder Civic and a 5 cylinder RS3 as well, built and boosted with enough power obviously. What excuses would you make up for that? People who still use engine size as an excuse in this day and age clearly know nothing about cars.

It held its own. But that trap speed your friend did includes the launch. Take the launch out of an AWD vehicle, such as this roll race, and it will lower your trap speed since you didn't have that initial inertia. Which leveled the playing field against this hellcat. But if it were a dig, we know how that would've gone haha.

So what? the hellcat is not exactly an eagle at high speeds. it doesn't have a good drag coefficient. Even the x3 may have a better coefficient. So yes, it is impressive how the hellcat runs

@@AutoGlory then the races makes sense. BMW only weights about 150 more lbs than the Hellcat and isn't giving up much on horsepower giving that it's stock. Those BMWs are crazy impressive regardless.

I have a video with the m4 comp against a hellcat. It was one my first videos with the the new g82. 😃

This x3m was most likely on a base OTS stg 2 tune and 2-3 gallons of e85 depends also on the ethanol, so no surprise there. Once you do a custom tune and go e50 or e70 it will be amajor difference! That kitty would get walked by like 5-6 cars no doubt and pullin.

Because it was either those rolls or no rolls for the x3m. The hellcat said he can't hook below 50 on the tires he has.
