I saw one bbn in person today for the first time. I was in a super rich neighborhood in Hawaii it looked insane! Videos & pix are nice but in person, the wow factor is beyond belief.

Whenever this C8 come to the dealer near me I'll be there for the first look and I'll bring a bottle of Meguiars leather cleaner too. It's a shame no one has cleaned those seat.
Looks better than I thought it would. Looks like a Ferrari more than a Corvette. C7 Stingray still the 🐐 of Vettes. Thats a instant classic and Legend.
Love this shade of blue. This car is beyond beautiful. How long would it take the thieves to get to this car??? The light colored interior will require lots of maintenance but the interior looks gorgeous. 👍
Chevy did an awesome job on the rear end styling, futuristically mean looking! The front end however is boring and lackluster in comparison! Why? It needs more muscular shaping the front, a hood bulge and angrier fender swoops!
I disagree with you in regards to the front end. I think it looks great. It is the rear end that I think isn't the strongest point of the car's design. I think the front end is where the car looks more like a Corvette. It is similar to the design of the C7 (except that it isn't as long).
I believe the z06 will bring the more aggressive front end and fenders, I like the vehicle really well put together. hopefully the Z06 will look exactly like the c8r. 401K HERE I COME....
@Rusty Shackleford I agree. In my opinion, the rear end is where the car's design looks most sqarish. And it just doesn't blend well with the overall form.
She's no 488 Spider but she is a good looking car. I own a C7 3LZ vert Z06 and am happy to hear the vert will be a Spider, now just waiting til late (?) next year to find out what the Z06 engine will be and will then decide if I am buying a C8 Spider Z06.
I will be hesitant to trade in my C7 Z06 if the C8 Z06 is an automatic only. Changing gears is part of the experience of driving. Might as well be self driving.
@@guessmyname1104 Yeah I get that...my Z is an A8 but I she is my first high performance non manual. I almost always drive her in Manual and use the paddles just for engagement, but I have driven Porsche 911 Turbos with the PDK and they are damn impressive so I am okay with a DCT, for me it is more about the C8 Z powerplant. If Chevy gives us a TT DOHC FPC with ~650+ H.P. I may very well be a buyer, though I may just spend some 401K money and buy a McLaren to have a real supercar.

The more i see this car the more i think people will regret getting this model when the C8 Z06 comes out. The car looks damn good the way it is but god damn the narrow body looks weak. I can only imagine with the fender flares, wider wheels and tires and more aero, on this??? NOW we're talking. I can't wait to get my C8Z.
I'm thinking outside the box! Some of these people are not the brightest candles that make these posts! If a person think about, A new base model C-8 is quicker,, or up there with the Z08 and ZR1, so it doesn't make sense to buy a used one that someone has already mod/tune and had fun with! The base model can almost do what the Z08 and ZR1 do on the strip and track, and it's just the base model! Wow! Now, those that like the Z08 and ZR1, can you imagine the performance they will have with the mid-engine body!?! They will also cost a pretty penny too, but back to the bargain of the base C-8 . The performance and price just can't be beat! Plus, it's damn sexy ass car that the ladies love too! It's a chick magnet! Lol!

James McClendon valid point but why buy a base c8 vette when you can get a c7 with all bells and whistles for less? Not only that but depreciation is no joke lol

Awesome! I will wait for GM to make it all-wheel-drive! My only complaint is I wish it had more room behind the seats like a Porsche 911. Still, an Awesome job GM!
Mr120Man, it CAN'T have more room behind the seats. It has a longer engine (V8) IN FRONT of the rear axle, LONGITUDINALLY mounted. The 911's engine is mounted BEHIND the rear axle, is shorter AND lower (a boxer 6). The price for that space behind the seats is less - than - optimal weight distribution. Stop having unrealistic expectations people, some things are just not possible.
Very nice car. Looks good in blue. Unfortunately, the car they showed at my Cincinnati dealer was fugly orange with an equally fugly greige interior. What a weird idea to use such a polarizing color to show off the car.
Was that the front end dragging when he drove it up the concrete ramp? Vettes a low and ya got to be careful all the time not to drag bottom. Got to be on guard for road kill too. Can't straddle a dead possum.

WHY DID THEY GET RID OF THE SIGNATURE 4 EXHAUST TIPS IN THE REAR?!! that’s the one thing corvette had going for them. Should of never separated the 4 exhaust pipes in the rear smh.
Wow I just went and looked at the price and the highest 1 I saw was about $75,000! I was expecting to see it start at around $125,000! Not that I can even come close to avoiding either lmao I'm just saying after looking at it I def thought it was start at well over $100,000! That engine alone looks like it should be able to charge that much for it lol
The only thing that sucks the hair off my nut sac is the exhaust moved from the center to the outside I understand why they did it, to allow the diffuser to work better at managing downforce and underbody air flow It makes the car better at high speed, especially the higher end models But the center exhaust looks way cooler
Elmer Tello , yes, true, but look closer at where the butt meats the seat, clearly dirty...., but i do understand the perforated holes, they are for seat ventilation.
You just can't beat the price!!! Toyota just released beamer supra just because they can't afford to create real supra while Chevy release this awesome car cheaper than fake supra. I love America....;p
