Thank God for these wonderful musicians that help her light shine even brighter... Best wishes from Virginia USA...Andrea, Josep & Joan.... Life is better because of you !!
Andrea, allow me to ask for God's blessings for you and your future arrival! All I ask from you is to welcome [him or her] into your heart, life and home confident that your Creator of Life and the Universe will look after you and your talent (and faith) all your life!❤🤩🙏🕍💒
Excusé! It wasn´t so scary when I looked at it in a bigger view. A selfportrait perhaps? But in this small format I still think it is a bit scary. Perhaps is it the blue colour?
makes her good this excellent hearthcoming music, anyway...On the other hand congratulation for the decision become a mother of bringing up new Jazz Kids again ....!
This is a culmination of your work, Joan. Andrea is the pinnacle of your effort. Although she was born with a tremendous ability it was cultivated by you. But, one can never overlook your own talent and that of Josep. Not just your musical acumen, but the talent to teach that passion to others.
Thanks Joan, Josep and (pregnant) Andrea, for coming back with your magnificent music. I´m brazilian and Andrea´s words in portuguese are almost perfect, with a slight but beautiful accent. Congratulations to you all, guys and girl!
The expectations have grown in scope. Now they include new life besides new jazz. What a blessing. Can't imagine the proud God-papa feelings Joan must have.
What a beautiful music.!..And baby Cel could already listen to this beauty together with Andrea,..,congratulation Andrea and thank Joan, Josep, Andrea very much..
Listening to this concert makes my soul come to a state of relief and acceptance. Such a refined beauty in this chamber jazz! This trio fills my expectations more than I ever could believe. I just melt down listening to these three wonderful artists.
When you play and sing from the heart as you do, it touches the soul of your listeners. Thank you for this wonderfully intimate and exquisitely beautiful concert.
Dear Joan, I have listened to so many of your great Bands' tracks here on RU-vid, on RU-vidMusic and on SoundCloud that I feel it is time for a little feedback. I don't know where to start - you seem to have just the right approach to encourage young talents to evolve and to bring them to incredible musical heights, simply by allowing them to express themselves. I have yet to find a track that I don't like. It is unbelievable, how many young stars have and continue to come out of your Sant Andreu Jazz Band project. I wish you many more of these heavenly moments when you bring together your young artists with seasoned Jazz Musicians. You have brought so much joy to this world. THANK YOU!!!
Thank you very much for your help and for your words. We have been with this Sant Andreu Jazz Band project since 2006, almost 18 years. Younger people come playing and singing very well. I hope to document it through records and videos. thank you.
Bravo
Great to see and hear the beautiful Andrea along with two side men blending perfectly with her vocals.Original music from all was a smash. Andrea deserves a medal. Thanks,Joan.
So missed seeing all of you at Stanford Jazz this summer. All best wishes to Andrea and her new baby and family. You guys are the high point of my musical life!
I am a follower from many years ago, the first i sow is a concert in plaza with a lot of dancing and happy people (Alba was so small ...). I feel you are a great human being, not only a great musician because I see in the eyes of all your creatures something special. now that Andrea can fly alone I see another lot of great young musicians. Usually I don't comment, but looking at Andrea singing and playing trumpet I felt how shall be lucky the new baby to have an uncle like you. PS: this trio formula touch my heart in a particular way
I wich the best to Andrea in everything that is coming her way. Thanks Andrea, Joan and Josep for this concert. I wish the best for the entire group too.
Yesss....Andera motis.....love her beautiful jazz voice...and amazing solo trumpet... ,beautiful performance 👍🏻...,thank you so much Joan Camorro....as always stay safe and stay healthy 🙏🏻😊👍🏻💕
Amazing. This is jazz the way it should be played, by three superb musicians without music sheets, played with unadorned instruments, great vocals, and stunning knowledge of the songs they are playing, multilingual, and tastefully. I hope great happiness to Andrea Motis.
All of the band are great videos. Joan Chamorro has a lot of patience and ability to transform these young people into "jazz greats". They are all amazing.
I have recently found Joan Chamorro and his musical family, and I'm loving it. And tracing the performances over time is a great honour. Thanks Joan, and everyone involved. Music makes the world go round.
That was one the nicest interpretation of Roberto Cantoral's La Barca I've had the privilege to hear, proving the adage "eyes of the beholder, or, to each his own". Thank you.
Thanks to you all, you and your music is beautiful! Josep, you are such a wonderful support to all the players and groups you perform with. Cheers to you!
What an amazing woman! great music, great voice, great trumpet & the baby on the way. I could just listen for days! Sweet! A beautiful concert from a great trio. Congratulations - Happy Birthday Baby Cel! You have a lovely Mama.
Whaou, quel immense plaisir!
And Andrea-"I had to wright a song for you"-Motis. What a great solo you are playing in your own song! All this turns out to be a gem for years to come.

Is it my imagination or does Andrea's voice sound 'richer' here? It’s sad they didn’t get the applause they deserved, but this man in England is definitely applauding you. This was a wonderful thing to do during lockdown, especially for Andrea.
It was 2020 they had to play to the audience outside in the interwebs, but did it like the pros they are. Andrea's voice sounds fantastic and the playing is fiercely good.
No other word but mágical. Could hear it again and again and again. Andrea is cute as a pregnat woman. I have'nt heard her for sometime. Impressive how much progress she has made, vocal and trumpet. Wonderful! Chamorro as well as Traver gives lots of brilliance to the show.
@@JoanChamorro ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kCDMQqDUtv4.html I was 19 years old living in Berkeley, California at that time. This event was June 21, 1969 at The Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland This is not my favorite style of jazz, but the performance has energy
Watching the growth of Andrea Motis over the years from a fledgling player and a mere youth to such an accomplished, eloquent musician is truly inspiring. I can only presume that Joan Chamorro has been a guiding light and the real genius in this entire evolution.
Joan Chamorro has helped launch her career but Ms Motis has been touring for years with quality musicians and has worked hard to get where she is now and is a very intelligent and creative young woman with an engaging personality. She was never a "mere youth" but a young talent from a very early age.
Having a minimum of respect for an idividual human being would be appropriate. Doesnt take away the certainly stellar guidance of mr Chamorro, but let's not forget that miss Motis is far from being "a lost child" but rather an accomplished human and eloquent musician. Calling the "real genius" someone else is despicable, they are both to be recognised for their acheivements. He didnt "make her" out of clay, she made herself through hard work and the help of a cool teacher, get a grip. I hope your tone is some sort of loss in translation, otherwise you're the acrid reminder of a bygone era where a woman or an artist couldnt exist by themselves in the minds of the degenerates.
Being attractive and young does not make anyone a genius. Having 30 or 40 years of lifetime musical experience and knowing how to bring out the best in hundreds of school children is something altogether different. There are improvisational trumpetists and vocalists in every city in the western world who are brilliant at their craft. Few, however, are young females with a RU-vid following.
@@hawsug4614 get laid man, you're the only person in these comments that fixate on the appearance of jazz cats, that should indicate you that the only problem lies between the chair and the screen. Off with your boomer ideas, musicians of that caliber choose each other over a common passion and Chamorro would trade a good looking student for a better musician any day of the week. You're an embarrassement.
Lovely concert in these times of "shutdowns" and "pandemics" Congratulations to Andrea, Joan and Josep for such "!!!!!!!" music. Words can't say enough. At 20:30, Andrea, you bring tears. Your voice and phrasing has matured wonderfully with the years. Best wishes to you and your child. Would have loved to see Ignasi on piano. Good health to all and your entourages.
