Shaw is brilliant with the jump, it looks like he's improving with every game he plays.. The only thing that annoyed me with the upload was it skipped from time to time..

Shaw looks like he has slowed down his game a bit and it's made him much better. His safety play has improved. Look out pool world he's looking really good.

True. He listened to the advises of Alex Lely. Now he is better then before. He was playing to hard before which resulted in less control.

I pretty much pull against Jayson against nearly anybody because there's hardly anyone I like less lol. But Jayson is the better player of these 2, period. This was Jaysons C game I'd say. Where as Kaci was playing his A- / B game. Neither ever really caught a gear. But in 2022 Jayson was playing his A- / B game against Kaci and Kaci hardly got a chance to shoot in a race to 13. It was a slaughter. Something like 13 to 3 or 4... brutal. And that's what you need to do. Practice till you simply don't ever miss. Then get in these high pressure tournaments, get use to the pressure. And never let your opponent to the table. Ever.

They need to adjust the three point rule. Maybe change it to the diamond after the side pocket. There are too many breaks that are nowhere near soft that don't get two balls past the head string.

Can someone explain why a ref would need to check if the 9ball is frozen to the rail at the 29:54 mark?

Because if it's frozen and he were to hit it, it wouldn't count as a rail hit, so then if nothing else hit a rail after he hits the 9, it would be a foul because a rail needs to be hit after contact with an object ball if you dont make a ball.

@@balisonglover000 that would make sense if he was playing safe and the ref needed to check the ball first. But it was the last ball on the table and there was no way he wouldn't hit the rail shooting the nine in. So why check it?

@@MrADVANCEDTEK True, but let's say he accidentally miscued, and the cue ball just barely hit the 9, in that situation the ref would need to know whether it was frozen or not, very unlikely but he still checks because it's his responsibility to say if it was a foul or not.

With his kicking skill I would like to see an entire game of Shaw where he doesn't jump. Even with full cue. Just curious to see his ability of how he'd deal with impossible contact, taking an intentional foul by making ball in hand for his opponent no piece of cake.

FargoRate predicted Shaw had a 55.8% chance to win before the match started. Very close on paper, but the better player won in the end. Can't argue with statistics. Well, you can, but you'd be wrong.

Kaci let him off the hook....big time blunders. Shouldn't have handed the table back towards the end ...played safe instead of potting the two and just bumping the 4 down table....then missed the easy safe. in the last rack idk why he didn't just roll up to the rail for cut on the three. He tried to get perfect and got hooked....You got shaw sitting in his chair at the end of a match....u better keep him there

Break foul on Shaw. 3 ball must pass the head string or 3 balls made or any combination of that. Opponent has option to play or give back.
