according to the manager at the u-haul the trucks on the lot were all 2021 models ( silverados def. were ). Maybe they have a fleet designated shittier cluster ? lol This was about as basic of an f150 as you could get ( it had an open diff, one wheel peel all day lol ).

@@CarAccelerationChannel I don't think so I'm 99% sure thats a 2020. Did it have a sync 3 touchscreen? Because if it did then its a 2021 but if it just had the tiny screen then its a 2020

@@bowie2004 I agree. The dash screen in this video is not seen on the new 2021’s. Also the beginning of the video and the description says 2020, which is correct. I think the title is wrong.

When you're in "Drive" press the "+" on your select shifter and it will show the gears.

The 10-speed was a joint project between Ford and GM, I haven't heard of any issues with from either company yet.

@Matthew Spell i just checked on their website and even the 3.3L comes in 10 speed now. Nah dragys have a tendency to be very glitchy. You’ll find lots of dragy videos on RU-vid that the dragy keeps counting well after the vehicle reaches 60. I’ve only seen one dragy video where it stops counting exactly on 60mph.

@@haroldbeauchamp3770 If there’s any delay you see, it is most likely the video and timer overlay is not 100% synced up. That does not mean the gps timer is inaccurate

@@texasstreetkings537 yep k&n intake with pedal commander, but I mean when it was stock that 5.0 will probably give the charger a wake up call lol things fast as shit for a truck. not a Ford guy but cant deny a powerful vehicle when I see it

yeah specially in S mode lol. Who needs a 400hp truck that goes to 6500rpm 😂. I feel like ford just puts this in the F150 so the V8 guys are happy ( i myself am a V8 guy lol ). But in terms of actual truck & torque performance the 2.7 and 3.5 ebs are better. On the other hand my brother and i had no problem towing his 6500lb trailer going uphill on fairly slick roads at 2-2500ft elevation. So it def. does the job.

i haven't tried the 2021 or even new 2020 i only tried the 2020 ram classic with the 5.7 and 8 speed. ( and previous rams ). I honestly like the f150 better, but the 5.7 does feel more like a proper truck engine.

This is a base model truck. If you are looking for all of the gadgets, you're going to have to look at a higher trim.

why do you need bigger info screen when hauling hay or bricks?

you know that is a base truck and putting a couple more options gives you a big cluster. It is also a rental truck.

Pretty sure it's 8 inches. The dash design makes it look small

I bought a black XL v8 single cab 6.5 ft bed. It’s a rocket! Who cares about the infotainment screen? Not me. It’s the engine I like. It has a tiny reversing screen but it does the job ( first time I’ve had a reversing camera) and I didn’t have to spend a fortune to buy it compared to upscale models. The speakers sound pretty good too. I’ve added some inexpensive aftermarket running boards and a foldable hard tonneau cover and I’m all set. I’d like to eventually put an aftermarket exhaust on it. I don’t even care about the steel wheels though. I’ve grown to like them.
