I bet they kept the fuse box right under the drainout for your hood when its raining (leads to electrical issues)

These vans are nice, drive nice. I just wish ford would make it standard with their vehicles to have their own independent turn signal lamps on the rear, instead of using the brake lamps as the turn signals. And move the turn signals on the headlights to the sides of the headlight, not toward the center where the grill is. It looks silly. How are drivers who are passed the view of your side mirror (assuming their is a turn signal lamp on the side mirror) supposed to see that you are signaling, if the damn turn signal lamp is all the way around toward the front?

I have a 2016 Passenger Wagon EcoBoost XLT. I love my van, just, I live in Washington, where it snows. I think I will get the 2020 Transit. I paid $42,000 for my current van. Id be willing to pay more :)

So the transmissions is a 10 speed transmission used in a 1/2 ton pickup truck now going to be used in a one ton cargo Van, Somehow that doesn't seem like a long lasting combination

I can see where an AWD van could be nice across the line. From everything to the delivery van,catering to Church vans. And then if somebody wanted a camper van having AWD would probably give them piece of mind if they want to camp just abit off the pavement.

Wider tires and better rims will that make this look like a winter. I always think the top heavy looks.

I’ve read that the diesel will not be available with all wheel drive. Why?? Many folks nowadays are getting into van life styles. They want a cargo van with all wheel drive, fuel efficiency and torque of diesel, and a raised or adjustable air suspension. Ford has pages and pages of options but very little for travelers. You’re missing out on potential customers and we’re missing out on an otherwise good van. Please consider.

Why oh why do so many of the van manufacturers think that they "MUST" put the shift selector on / in the middle of the dash "PROTRUDING OUTWARD" into the cab area? Put it back on the steering column where it used to live for so many years! I would love to own a Transit 350 HiTop so that I could convert it to a custom RV, but with the shift where it is I cannot fit in the drivers area! (I'm a BIG guy!) Come on Ford (and others) build 'em for us BIG people too!!!

It very sad to see they still didn't put the opening windows on the passenger vans. You still have to rely on the stupid air conditioner all the time. I wanted to see a nice big size windows you can open and close in that rear passenger area on all windows also a moonroof panoramic that would have been a nice option.

The ground clearance isn't enough. I guess I'll have to get a normal Transit and get the Quigley 4X4 conversion.

They could have put more effort into modernizing the design. The exterior looks exactly like the current model. Also, I'll never understand why Ford decided to go AWD instead of true 4x4, when they could have simply pulled the components from the F-150. The Mercedes Sprinter has offered real 4WD in the US for over 5 years and many class B RV buyers/builders have gravitated to Mercedes for that reason alone. Most people understand that AWD is not equivalent to proper 4WD. Major fail on Ford's part. That said, I'd probably still choose the Transit over the Sprinter because I don't want to deal with the Sprinter's finicky diesel emissions system. I'd just go with a 2WD transit with the Ecoboost 3.5 V6 and have the Quigley 4x4 conversion done on it, which consists of 90% F-150 parts.

awd is not 4wd. Where is the V8? van should be able to handle that. doors for the side should be like the e-series, two doors.

whoever puts out a large KW hybrid carg van that can run the AC overnight and that allows you to pull high amp 12v and 110v while your parked and off WINS. If Toyota was in this segment they would kill Ford, Ram and Nissan.

As long as you have no solution for carbon build up from eco boost engine you just building fancy box without soul other engines available are not for heavy duty work
