this is the most detailed informational video I've ever seen...just one question, does the passenger version of connect come easily with quick seat removal and or do the seats fold down flat? well made video Steve. thank you

Thanks! Hopefully you were able to learn a few things from it... The Passenger Van doesn't have quick seat removal however the seats do fold down fairly flat. Anyone know if the cargo van version can be up fitted after the fact with 1 or 2 2nd row bucket seats?

Yes it can! You have to go to a ministry of transport approved upfitter but they are out there

I am planning to buy one soon but any ford experts out there can recommend which engine I should go with? 2.0 vs 2.5 - extended cargo version which engine package is more reliable?

They're both pretty reliable but the 2.0L is more common so greater part availability. It's 2,000lbs towing both engines so you could save a few dollars and go with the 2.0

$95k for a van that cost $30k new is a bit crazy, even if it's well maintained. Are you selling one or looking for one to buy?

@@agarcia4271gaming None of the Titanium Transit Wagons built in Ontario yet for 2021 and no 2020 left! I'll keep an eye out but will most likely have to borrow it from another dealer to shoot the video

What is the reliability of the Ford transit connect long term? When I say long term I mean will these vans last over 200k miles?

Great question! How well do you maintain and care for your vehicles? Are you going over payload/towing capacity on a regular basis? As long as you aren't over loading the vehicle and maintain it properly it'll last. I've seen Transits with 100,000 miles that run like new and 50,000 miles that feel like they're about to fall apart

You want an Express with the v8. They are very dated, and not good on gas, but durable as anything, and easy/cheap to work on. People get 200-350k out of most of them.

it's the ford tourneo connect active available in canada or the states?

Yes and no... the Tourneo is simply a Transit Connect that has side windows and rear seats. However the Active trim level has a few things that aren't available on the North American versions, notably the black painted rims

It amazes me how much miss information you get from dealers. It’s not a side unlock button it’s a back door unlock button on the key fob. Also you get remote start from the factory as long as you download the Ford app on your phone and you can remote start lock and unlock from your phone or from your Amazon Alexa as well as see your vehicle on a map see your tire pressure and fuel gauge all on the app.

Firstly... thanks for pointing out the back door unlock vs side unlock. When you improvise a one hour video sometimes you may misspeak. It takes someone really listening attentively to point things out, so the star goes to you ⭐ Thanks for the mention of FordPass and remote start - I started including that feature in my videos after someone pointed it out a few months back. The Alexa app isn't available in Canada but yes it does show similar information to what people would see in the FordPass app as well

@@CarsWithSteve I currently have a 2007 E-150 that is pristine with state of the art detailing equipment, so I'm looking to add to the fleet because I'm having a demand to show up in cramped places or in parking structures with very low ceilings. Plus the E-150 is built like a shop on wheels and sometimes not all that equipment is needed, btw did I hear you say 2024 model?

Struck a cord with the enthusiasm eh? When you have the chance to drive over 100 cars in a year you get surprised sometimes. When a 2.0L engine has more pep than you were expecting you're allowed to crack a smile. If I wasn't impressed, you'd see it on my face :)

The backup camera is standard on the Transit Connect - check out the 1:50 mark of the video where I talk about standard technology. At the 1:00 mark I also talk about the engine specs - there are 2 options available in the Transit Connect ;)
