Great video Jeff. Because of you I am getting a highlander hybrid. Can you please do a highlander hybrid LE vs XLE? Would love to see the different features offered in the XLE.
Thanks Jeff!! Love your videos. Your animated, but specific in the way you describe every detail of each vehicle. Thanks to you I purchased a 4 Runner limited. You had a video that compares the TRD vs the Limited. Thanks again, and keep those videos coming. Lenny from Massachusetts!!
Great review Jeff, as expected. 😬. I do appreciate the moving full coverage view of the vehicle. It also showcases the changing hue of the vehicle color as the lighting conditions shift. I’m hoping you could do a revamped review (with the same full moving view) of the Platinum, preferably of the hybrid in Ruby Flare Pearl, if your dealership acquires one! And you can dance and sing as much as you want in the video!! 😆
Another great one Jeff! Plane noise is no problem. FYI We're a retired couple with a home in both upper and lower Michigan. We go back and forth and we have 2 kids with 4 kids each. Currently have an 05 accord gem and a pickup lease. We are not going to renew the lease due to mileage. We would like to have our main larger vehicle to be smaller than a full size PU. Very interested in the Pilot/Highlander, 4runner/Passport and Tacoma/Ridgeline.The Highlander/Pilot gives us, if ever needed, the opportunity to carry more than 5. What is very important especially too is when leaving the pickup scene, are opening dimensions from the rear and middle seat areas. You've done many with the tape measure and that helps plenty. Also mention Hybrid warranties every time since many are afraid of that!! Need that dealer in West Branch!!!! Just a few thoughts, Thanks!!
FINALLY, a car review for the Highlander Hybrid that explains how the hybrid works and shows the energy monitor. Thanks so much, Jeff. I wish that I had this available before I purchased my 2015 Highlander Hybrid. I love my vehicle and it is the Platinum so has all the features, plus Toyota reliability, plus Toyota safety. Best vehicle that I have ever driven and owned. The 2020 has even more available....WOW!
Great video Jeff! I’m patiently waiting for the 2021 XSE version of this model! Wishing you an awesome weekend! Mark in Iowa. Watching on my I Phone 11! Mark.
Thanks for this video Jeff. I was wondering when dealerships would actually start receiving the hybrid models on the lot. Yours is the first sighting of a hybrid in the wild. LOL. I really like what Toyota did with the Highlander Hybrid and was almost ready to buy the hybrid XLE, but then I discovered it had no heated steering, (Limited and above only), No rain sensing wipers (Platinum only), and no auto dimming side mirrors (no models). For my daily driving conditions, these are all highly desired features. I wish Toyota allowed more ability to option up the XLE to include some of these features. I may still end up buying the XLE (haven't scratched it off the top 5 list yet), but I have to consider some of the other competitors who offer the desired features (but with worse gas mileage). Nevertheless, congratulations to Toyota for possibly being the only competitor who built a vehicle that can take down the Kia Telluride/Hyundai Palisade! Are you filming near an Air Force base or a commercial airport?
Next time can you show us how the third row leg room is like when you adjust the middle row forward a bit. Not so forward that your legs will be cramp. Thanks in advance
@@Toyotajeff tell toyota to make reliable cars because its having issues and they had to recall.....this is sad....If you do that I will pay you more than Toyota
MASTER FAZE SAITAMA It happens to every brand. Toyota isn’t “unreliable” just because it is having a fuel tank problem. They are still a very reliable brand.
@@masternobody1896 every brand has issues. I'm not a huge Toyota fan but I do give them some respect for at least doing a recall voluntarily. Most other manufacturers will not do a recall unless forced to.
From 2019 MPGs, it's not worth the big hit in the Horse power for this size SUV. Jeff thanks for the Video, however, it's obvious you are sugar coating the horse power part... 😉
Brian That’s an excuse on a $15K econobox, not a $40K SUV. I wonder if the Limited and Platinum Hybrid versions have the same cost-cutting measure at prices heading towards $60K?
Brian Not an issue in 99.9% of cars 3 times that age especially since most people rarely open the hood meaning it should take a very long time to wear out the struts. Are people going to start putting props on the hatch next because they’re scared of a strut wearing out? If it eventually wears out, replace it for many more years of use. Easy.
webcomment The hatch struts doesn’t get heat soaked every time you drive somewhere, thus they generally last the life of the car. The struts are just waisted weight, much like the rear wiper.
Toyota itself will be facing supply chain issues like all manufacturing companies, so this is a global to local economic impact. Dealers will have issues too.
Yeah.. just talk.. definitely no buy after Corona Virus.. maybe next year.. we'll see how it'll develop :*(... guash.. I'm sorry as u must be desperate REPEATING same info over and over... there been gazillions videos already explaining what u r spending time today on..g. luck to u and your family - rough times coming 4 all of us.
