From iPad reviews to software upgrades.. Aron you’re the best! I sure hope more and more people find their way to this amazing channel and contribute to its growth! Cheers 🍻
i have the ipad air first gen. the battery is very bad sometimes so i came to watch this video to see if this ipad is worth my money. So far it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aaron, we enjoy seeing you in the intro and outro. (Hope that didn’t sound creepy). I think it’s very good that you’re imputing bits your personality to your videos. A welcomed change!
Great video Aaron. I always love your content. I’m watching on a 2019 iPad 7th generation. This is my school iPad lol. It’s alright with the A10 Fusion, acts really slow sometimes, but other than that it works really well.
Although this budget iPad has an A12 chip, I would rather stick with my IPad Pro 2.9in 2017 version which has the A10 chip and has quad speakers and still sounds better than any other top of the line Android tablet. I’m going to look into purchasing the new iPad Air as it’s a lot lighter and has stereo speakers. The other thing I don’t like about the standard iPad line is that the screen is quite hollow and they shatter quite easily even from a 3ft drop on to the carpet. I much rather spend the extra couple of hundreds of pounds and buy a solid built device.
I don’t really understand the power adapter change until I look at my MacBook Pro where the power cable is usb c to usb c. So in terms of that alignment I can see it. I hope apple have a scheme in place to take back and recycle all of their old Apple power sockets and cables that are becoming obsolete
Another great and informative video Aaron, thanks. I Still use my original iPad Air. Stuck on iOS 12.4.8 but working fine. This new generation iPad is of interest to me so that I could use iPad OS 14 like I use iOS 14 on my iPhone 11. Maybe Amazon will have a huge discount on Prime Day in October.
Does it have loud speakers? The problem with the 6th generation ipad is not the slow cpu, it’s lack of adequate sound on speakers. When you watch Hulu or RU-vid, the volume is not high enough comparing to the first generation of ipad. Could you do a test?
I still use my iPad 4th Gen. I definitely think its time to upgrade. Think I paid £329 for that many years ago. This will definitely be a potential replacement for me. At the minute though I'll make sure I get my PS5 first
The only reason I won’t be getting this iPad is because my mini5 is the 256GB. With all that size and screen real estate I hate that I have to pay into the next generation for a 256GB.
I had a question about the home button on the new 8th gen. To me it seems like the home button the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 have. Is the button on the iPad an actual physical button or one like the iPhone 8?
That 20W USB-C adapter is indeed a new one as the one with the 11 Pro Max is 18W. I wonder if this is indicative of the charger that’s going to come with the new 12s?
I intend to buy a new tablet, but I am confused as to whether I want to buy an ipad or another android tablet. I am not in the Apple Ecosystem. My smartphone is android, my laptop is Asus. So, is it worth it if I buy an ipad to use as my tablet? Will it bother me to transfer any documents and videos to my laptop and smartphone later?
Since the iPad 7th and 8th gen have the same front and back quality. Just want to ask to those who have the 7th gen, is it enough for zoom meetings? Like does the front camera enough for you to at least give a clearer quality than an average laptop camera?
As a student, I decided an iPad would be great for me especially since I’m doing remote learning. At first I thought of getting the iPad because of the price, but now I think I’m leaning towards the iPad Air because of the better camera, which I really need for Zoom. Will the camera of the iPad Air be worth getting rather than than the iPad especially considering the greater price?
Not really . I’m also a student and I use the iPad 6th Gen for notes and scanning HW. Camera quality doesn’t make much of a difference for HW or online classes
@@robot_killer thanks for telling me! If I do decide to get an iPad I think I’d still go with the Air because of its modern design and also so I won’t have to upgrade for years to come
@@robot_killer if I get the iPad Air yes for sure! My thing is tho that the iPad and those accessories are about the same price as the MacBook Air (base model), which is something I’ll definitely need next year, so now I’m debating if I should even get an iPad because for the price that I’m paying for the iPad plus the accessories I might as well get a MacBook instead. I really want both but I really only have the budget for one of them
Hello, I was thinking to get an IPad for studying. I just have to study with it, so my choice would definitely be this video’s IPad. However, I don’t know if I should get the 32gb version with the Apple Pencil or just the 128gb version without the pencil. Oh and I also want to say that I’m not the kind of person who downloads a lot of apps/games. Can somebody help me decide? 😥 Thanks! Lastly, I’m sorry if there will be some errors in this comment: currently learning English :p
I’m looking to buy a iPad for my daughter as a present please can someone tell me if the iPad mini 2019 version is better then the iPad in this video due to the costs is slightly higher on the mini
Just watch this video on this iPad and then take note of the features and specs here. Then watch another video about the iPad mini 2019 version and take notes of the specs and features from there then compare
I'm kind of disappointed with Apple. Apple should have increased storage space than upgraded SoC to A12 (Most customers would have been fine with the A11 or A10) Apple should have sold standard 64GB of storage space rather than 32GB for schools/education, more schools are use many more apps and than before, now that the apps are getting bigger. Now that Apple has increased the price of the iPad 8 gen (Exchange rate are different from country to country).
@TECHTORMA HAHA, Greedy Apple. I do not think there is a possibility iCloud can store the entire app in iCloud. iCloud only stores app data, it does not help much when schools iPad has around 50-100 apps installed on the iPad.
