Binotto: we need a fast car Engineer: remove brakes, car dont stop, car fast Binotto: sounds like a great Ferrari Materplan The Ferrari Masterplam: 1:15
2017 Azerbaijan Grand Prix: - Ricciardo started 10th - Red flag - He won the race - Stroll P3 2020 Italian Grand Prix: - Gasly started 10th - Red flag - He don the race - Stroll P3
Brazil 2019: Hamilton gets a penalty Mclaren on the podium Austria 2020: Hamilton gets a penalty Mclaren on the podium Italy 2020: Hamilton gets a penalty Mclaren on the podium IT WAS ALL PART OF THE GREAT MCLAREN MERCEDES MASTER PLAN
If they didn't hold back Carlos, Carlos would have caught up to Gasly much earlier and probably taken the race lead. So they were actually crucial for Gasly's win
IN THIS RACE: - Some Germans invade somewhere they're not supposed to. - A champion decides he doesn't like road signs. - And a driver sits on the podium.
Red bull: Gasly has done bad this season. No podiums or anything. *Gets dropped* Gasly: *Gets a podium and a win before Albon gets a podium* Red bull: yeah let's keep Alex
It’s more or less about the points. Pierre is a great racer but in 12 races so far he’s scored the same amount of points as he did with his only 12 races with Red Bull last year
Listening to David Croft's commentary when Pierre Gasly crossed the finish line to win gave me goosebumps. Such pure and raw emotion coming from his voice. He deserves more respect as he is very underrated.
People may respect him more if he wasn't so blatantly bias towards Mercedes!! Hamilton & now George aswell it stinks no wonder people call for better commentators
Drivers' comments: Gasly: AHHHHHHHH!!!!!! YESSSS Sainz: No Stroll: ok we got a second Norris: Brilliant Carlos! Bottas: **** that was bad Ricciardo: We did well Team Hamilton: He he Ocon: GG everyone Kvyat: Did he win? Perez: Noice fall Latifi: That was close Grosjean: ok Raikkonen: Nice start Russell: First time I get overtaken by Hamilton Albon: I got ****** Giovinazzi: YES! LAST PLACE Verstappen: No power why Leclerc: After 4 years, it happened again Magnussen: Too slow bruh Vettel: No brakes really
I still remember the TG Lancia Special Clarkson and Hammond did. Hammond: Now this is the Monte Carlo. It was reported that this car has brakes that failed and the solution that Lancia did was genius. They removed it... Completely" *car fails to stop and continues rolling forwards* Hammond: "Erm... Ah..."
Alpha Tauri beating Red Bull Racing Point beating Mercedes McLaren beating Renault Alfa Romeo beating Ferrari Seriously this race is already a classic.
@@abrinked The problem with RBR is how obvious it is that they favor Max. That's why Daniel left. They want someone like Mark was to Seb or Daniel was to Max (even though it was supposed to be the other way around in his rookie season), a great driver who can win races but is not really a threat. Kvyat and Gasly are treated equally in Alpha Tauri and that's what makes the dynamics immediately different. And btw, Alex is getting more chances this season than Pierre ever had.
@@noblestar7742 he doesn't need them? Red Bull gave him the opportunity to drive in F1. They gave him a top car and he didn't perform so he got demoted again. How is that treating like shit?
BlueFlag Alpha it’s not karma, if you demote Albon too, he would be amazing. It’s the pressure that a drive with a top 3 team brings, and the fact that the RB isn’t the easiest car to drive this season compared to the AT.
@@user-qr3ee3zp8q Well...the opposite to Alonso decision, when he moved from Ferrari to McLaren... (Ok, Alonso didn´t know that McL was going to be a crapbox. Sainz does).
Horner: so Pierre got p1 Assistant: yes Horner: and albon got p15 in an absolute horror show Assistant: yes Horner: OK I think this is a pretty easy decision for the redbull seat next season Assistant: yes I agree Horner: Sergio perez Assistant: Pierre Gas- wait what?
3.9M view in two days says it all compared to other race highlights this year. Fans really excited to see different race winners and new face on the podium.
- Closest finish between the top 2 since Singapore 2010. - First podium without any of the Big Three (Mercedes, Red Bull, Ferrari) in the Hybrid Era. - First victory for a french driver since Monaco '96. (Olivier Panis - Ligier Mugen Honda) - First victory for a french driver in Monza since '89. (Alain Prost - Mclaren Honda) - First victory for AlphaTauri (Toro Rosso) since Monza '08. - Best place finish for a Mclaren car since Australia '14. - First double DNF for Ferrari in Monza since '95
The race that became one of the reasons that the sport had started to change its landscape. And it still gives a tear to my eye with happiness watching this.
@@dovercomer.2748 lmao idiot it was the slowest cars of the grid and Hamilton had fresh tyres... Hamilton would also have struggled in the Bottas' situation
It is never a small feat to win in a midfield team but Gasly pit at the right moment and got lucky with Lewis fumbling with the closed pitlane. Vettel's o.g. 2008 victory was much more impressive since it was basically on almost pure pace, even if the top teams messed up quali with the wrong tires. Vettel still had the best pace in the race regardless, which can seldom happen these days with any of the midfield cars be it dry or wet. The Toro Rosso was arguably the 3. best car in 2008 even though they couldn't always put it together like the 5 bigger teams.
They are bored out of their own minds themselves by now. There is not much left to say. "Get in there" and "Good job guys and thanks for their hard work at the factory".
At the end of this season, I think we'll have two miracles to look back on: 1. The fact that Gasly/AT won a race. 2. The fact that Leclerc actually got a podium in that Ferrari.
@@10parth10 its a joke about the races being better if Hamilton had to start from the back each week. Some people have suggested F1 should run reverse grids each week based on championship position.
Watched this highlights like 25 times. If this isn't F1 what is. Without merc the race just lit up and other cars seems to maintain pretty much same gap times across the board. No wonder this is one of the best race. Well done!
i remember watching this live and rooting for Sainz looking back now, Gasly really deserved it as well, great efforts from both sides though. side note: probably the most unusual F1 podium in modern era, even more fitting in 2020
I got into F1 a little bit this season and this was the first race I actually woke up in time to watch on a Sunday morning, and it was definitely worth it
He got demoted. He lost a friend. His home was robbed. He was written off. But he is now race winner. More of a champion to the tifosi than the red clown team today.
I've always known Pierre had it in him. Wherever he goes, I reckon he can be a world champion. But seeing what fans of him see? It's up to the next team he signs to see that be real.
@3213232 1231223 at this point I'm just sorry for the drivers. This team is not Ferrari. At this point I'm gonna hope Seb and Charles do well, but I'm going to look more forward to Toro Rosso
Yea and this is what we wil see more often because its very common for these things to happen... Dont act like he drove himself up there. Just luck this time. Next race's will be at least 1merc at podium.
James Kershaw RB car is skiddy af because they base the setup on two RB cars on Verstappen’s setup preferences so Albon doesn’t get his own setup preferences and not only why Albon is being a bit shit but he’s also pressured by the media and RB’s toxic environment
What makes Gasly's win all the more emotional, was that Anthoine Hubert told him to "Prove Them Wrong" when Gasly got unceremoniously demoted from Red Bull. Now a year on from Anthoine's death, Gasly's done exactly that. No wonder he broke down on the podium.
the thing is, even without Hamilton's penalty and the pit lane being closed, it would have still been an unexpected podium as there would have been Hamilton and the two McLaren on the podium.
Brazil 2019: Ferrari double DNF, gasly and sainz on the podium for the first time Italy 2020: Ferrari double DNF, gasly and sainz on the podium for the second time.
