Which company did you get this complete kit from and at what cost. I have a 2024 z650rs and I think this set up sounds the best. Great tutorial btw

I know you posted this a while back so id lime to ask you if you had any issues reusing the exhaust gaskets. I ordered my new yosi for my z650 tonight and I was worried about reusing the gaskets. Thanks for making a great video. Cheers.

Thanks my friend you did a great video capturing everything. Much appreciated as most I’ve seen skip through steps. I like that you installed springs on mid pipe to exhaust first. No one else did that and it looks tight Thanks also for the ft lbs on each bolt and nut

Thanks for making this video; I'm looking to get my first bike this year and I have decided between the Cbr650r and Ninja 650. Although I have recently started looking into naked bikes and I really like the looks of the Z650, especially in this colorway. Just wanted to say whats up from the south-side of Chicago!

Thanks for the support my dude! My personal preference are naked bikes. I've had a Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200, CB500F, 2 Z650s, Z1000, CRF250L & a Ninja 600. I love the naked style bikes! As fun as enduros are, the naked has the comfort of an enduro, torque of a rocket (or better), sounds better than a Harley, and all around my favorite! I'm from the North Side of Chicago! If you get out with Chicago United Riders, you may see me out there! Check out some of my other videos too! 🤠

@@ez_tz3561 Just curious, what does it cost for your insurance, and how much did you pay for the Z? Also do you have a preferred dealership? How do you get into Chicago United Riders? This would be my first motorcycle experience with any of this. I am subbed.

thanks for the video bro.. I'm buying that kind of exhaust and worried about the oxygen sensor. I just put 1000km on my 2021 Z650 . It sucks cannot ride during the winter season.

That's great! Be sure to either get your ECU flashed or a fuel controller of some sort, otherwise you will blow the bike up sooner rather than later.

No silencer, but I did come either a spark arrestor I did not install.

Could you please make a list of those parts you have changed o added to your bike? and also where did you get them if possible. I have the same model and colour and i am interested about knowing more details

how much of a sound difference do u think it makes, want to get one but not sure if $800 is worth it lol

It makes a HUGE difference! Not only is it $800ish dollars for a good sounding exhaust but you also need to flash the ECU/get the bike a fuel controller. There's another $200-$500. You do gain a couple extra horsepower and a lot more saddle-power (makes it feel more powerful even if it isn't). Sound 1000 times better too. Highly recommend saving up as it's the best upgrade I've done so far.

Yes! Flashing the ECU or getting a full tune/dyno is required after the exhaust change. I promise, you will LOVE the sound of this exhaust!!!🤟🏻🔥

are you having trouble chaging the oil filter with the yoshimura header pipes?

I'm getting ready to do a fresh oil change with the headers ON once it gets a little warmer in northern Chicago. Yes, they will be in the way! I was going to try and wrap them in a plastic bag or something and try to get a funnel under there also... will be tricky

@@ez_tz3561 yeah i just bought second hand ninja 650 header pipe. Im going cut it and use the yoshimura as a slip on instead.

@Ghost MotoDiaries you obviously trust your handy skills more than I trust mine! There are ZERO slip-on options on the market for this bike since the factory system is ine piece...

@@ez_tz3561 I'm not allowed to do any maintenance on my own yet for this new bike because of warranty. when I took it to the dealer the mechanic said that this Yoshimura header pipe is blocking them from removing the Oil filter... Thats why im trying to find videos to to show them it can be done... its annoying

@@GhostMotoDiaries the factory headers would give them the same problem. I’ve done the oil change before the new headers… If I were you, I’d try to find a new Kawasaki dealer. Doesn’t sound like they want to help…

YES! You will either need to flash the ECU or get fuel controller of some type

Heard you don’t have to on this exhaust. Just reset the ecu by unplugging battery for 10 min O2 sensor should figure out fuel mixture

Can you use the old spacers from the stock exhaust?

You can use the same ones, but is does come with a new set when buying the new exhaust kit!

YES!!! I know i forgot to talk about that in the video... I did have the get the ECU flashed. I took it out and sent it in somewhere.
