I know many people loyal to the w900 but I love the W990. The w990 makes OTR driving so easy and relaxing. Not to mention no loud ass noises from the truck or outside wind.

Beautiful truck! Love all of the shiny bits. I'm surprised that there's not a stainless DEF tank cover. Great video and you can definitely tell by the sound of that engine that it's a Cummins.

Very nice KW t880!! Plenty of driver amenities!! Thanks for the tour Andy!! However, I still prefer GLIDER KIT with NO DPF/DEF!! Add CAT C-16 engine with Eaton/Fuller 22918B heavy haul transmission &260"+ wheelbase &the KW would be PERFECT!!💯🇺🇸😎👍💰✌

I have watched many videos and always wonder why is there a fan switch for the radiator? I see a mechanical fan so does that mean there is also a auxiliary pusher fan in the front of the rad? Please explain. Thanks!

Hi Andy,is this truck the one you often designate as a "short hood"? As I can see "long hood"has better acsess to the engine than that particular one for cab is moved about what,30-40cm(?) back.Good vid, as always.👍

We have two engine choices. With the Paccar you can get a shorter good.

I own a trucking company. I use to be a big Cummins fan. No more! New Cummins engines nothing but trouble. Right now I switched to Paccar,so far so good.

The PACCAR engines are DAF engines from the Netherlands. PACCAR is the proud mother of three great truck manufacturers and doesn't produce a bold. I hear quite some people saying that these engines are crab, but we all know that they don't have a clue. It all has to do with patriotism.

Paccar engines are built in Mississippi by Cummins to Paccar specs.

@@eugenesamurai8384 They are ok as long as your engine 2018 service date or newer, anything before that o would recommend to stay away. Lots of issues and very few mechanics which can work on them

@@AndyTheKenworthGuy i haul milk where i work. my boss buys only paccar MX13. i think he does it to save money but in the long run might prove to be a mistake. we gross up to 105K sometimes and the paccar is just overworked..... should have the 15 liter. other milk haulers have bought paccars and i know a couple that refuse to buy them anymore. i think the cummings might be a better engine.

they also rate the paccar at 500 or 510 hp depending upon the year, i think they rate them high. i have driven older C15 trucks with rated 485 hp that pulled allot stronger.

It’s an option to have an air deflector with ground or back of cab exhaust.

Does the pass seat swivel 180° so you can use it at the table? Idk why, but other than maybe full gauges & personally I'd spec a few things slightly differently & a different color, this may be my favorite truck of all your vids. If I ever win the lottery, I'll come spec one w/you & order it just for fun:).

There is a microwave spot on the passenger side. Only one pipe is connected on this cab.

@@AndyTheKenworthGuy i ran a T660 with the studio bunk for 2 years . to me that was the definition of a true otr unit. the 680 looks like a failed abortion to me with that egg shaped head , looking at it from the front. this 880 is indeed a nice looking unit. way to go KW . I just wish they would stop installing the fake pipe

Eaton is Dana spicer. It’s been Dana for years. We build a boxed bumper which closes off the ends.

The T880 looks like and the same color as the Tonka Toy trucks that I used to have when I was a kid. :-) What? Fake dual exhaust? Come on Kenworth. For that kind of money, real dual exhausts should be standard. Everything on a working truck should have a function, not just for eye candy.

The only reason cummins ISX's have cam problems is because people aren't doing their oil changes. I know 5 people with 1.2-1.4k km on their ISX's no rebuilds maintenance is key in general, seen plenty of 6nz's not make 700k km before popping off. The only really bad engine regardless of maintenance I know is the international Maxxforce's they're truly junk all around.
