Only few things missing in a US version to become the no.1 dream rig ; a 1VD 4.5 V8 DIESEL engine w/ OEM snorkel. Manual transmission and front solid axel would be a bonus! or just cut the red tape and bring in the LC 70 series wagon and 4dr double cab; definitely a sold out model.

Very safe. Get hubcentric spacers. Spidertrax is awesome. Their studs are actually stronger than the factory ones. Read the instructions. Put them correctly and you should have no probelms.

Wheel spacers, on this?!?! Remove the spacers and go to a 285 tire at absolute most. This is my personal opinion.

Should never put wheel spacers on, otherwise great looking rig sans ARB front Sahara Deluxe bumper and rear with spare tire carrier then you would have a real ride.👍

Going by the graphs, there were downturns faced by the Land Cruiser series before and the 200 is no exception, being low-volume in numerous countries to begin with. What youtubers did was use their positions as fake news generators to plant a seed in people that the 200 series was going to be cancelled because it would incite people based on their love, and likely someone close to the first of these fake news generators had a used one to sell and it jacked the prices up on the used market. Also in case you didn't get the memo, Dieselgate didn't help matters in Europe for the diesel engine, but meanwhile, the 200 series isn't even officially available there.

That's low on the list of why these don't sell. Diesel is not that popular in the US outside of heavy duty trucks. The $85k price tag is a much bigger problem.

The V8 Diesel (Australia, South Africa markets etc) would not meet the US Emssion Standards, that is why it is not available in the US and Europe. In Europe one can only get a 2.8l 4 -Cylinder Diesel engine with 177hp. Not sure if you would prefer that over the 5.7 V8 gasoline gas guzzler ?
