It’s beautiful, and I’m usually not a fan of Fords or Exploders. It has real presence. I wish Mercury was still around, to see what their Mountaineer on this platform would have looked like. If it was still here, Ford could sell more Exploders, because they would be forced to sell it at a lower price. Thanks for another great video.

Love this car! I am considering buying it. Test drove the black label with dynamic handling package. Rode very nice. Two things that made me a little puzzled. 1. Why not make some sort of a knob or a dial to control that infotainment system? Place it near or in integrate it with the current Drive mode selector... 2. Why limiting black label potential owners with only three interior color schemes? I want all black interior. Does it mean I can't have black label edition then?

That sloped windshield may be why front seats feel too high. To get you above the dash and just below the roof.

Enjoy your reviews. However, when it comes to this model, I would caution people to do some research before making the purchase. There are numerous reports of problems Ford/Lincoln is having with the SUVs coming out of one of their plants. Ford/Lincoln has been sending the vehicles to a secondary location to rework the SUVs, post production, to ready them for sale/delivery. Even with that step, there are still issues. Reportedly, Ford/Lincoln has actually taken the unusual step of buying back some of the vehicles from the customers.

I don’t care for Lincoln... they have great interiors but ride is hard and firm... doesn’t seem like luxury just something good enough for a red carpet lease. I rather go with Caddy.

Cadillac escalade interrior and the cadillac xt6 interrior are diffrant the lincoln navagator and the lincoln aviator interrior kinda looks the same

Man, this SUV is gorgeous inside and outside, excellent work Drew and Mason. Just one thing you forgot to mention. The Black Label model has a suede headliner. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Black Label model has a.leather wrapped dashboard too.

As usual, nicely done! Lincoln is shrewdly targeting an under served market of buyers that appreciate traditional American luxury qualities, with contemporary, yet sophisticated styling. Cadillac has been chasing the Germans for several years now, with limited success. It's nice to see Lincoln effectively redefine American luxury as a distinctive option in a very competitive segment. It will be interesting to see how well they do. Hope to see a Corsair review soon ?

Im a GM guy, but this is hands down better than the Cadillac.

Excellent review!! By far, the most appealing luxury SUV I've seen in a while! Both inside and out!!! To be honest, I can't stand the current onslaught of SUV/CUVs sweeping the market! But few SUV/CUVs do a good job of holding me any interest! This is one of them!! Especially with its impressive powertrain! Standard 400hp/400lb ft of torque?! Yes please!!!

Mission accomplished! Glad you finally got partnered with Lincoln. We all have to keep grinding and this is arguably the hottest SUV on the road and the interior is bananas! Watch out because Lincoln is really knocking it out the park!

It looks great inside and out. But with all the reported issues I wouldn’t being paying $70-90k to be Lincoln’s beta tester. Issues ranging from massive electronic to body panel not fitting correctly. Releasing this with all the reported issues, and it won’t be around any longer than the original Aviator

Growing up my Dad worked for Ford and Lincoln in product planning. We lived in Dearborn, home of Glass House, Fords Headquarters. He brought home tons of different cars pretty frequently as they bought competitive cars to know what to design against...hey it was the 60s. Not very sophisticated. Corvettes, Cameros, Mercedes, BMW, Ferraris etc. He also bought home tons of the latest Fords and Lincolns, among them the Pinto and the truly ^%&$ Ford Fairmont (Yes worse than the Pinto my sister got one stuck sideways in our garage one winter, but that's another story.) He NEVER brought home any Lincoln that was even in the same Universe as this ride. I know cars are very personal. I love this vehicle. The look. The design. The features/functions. Really nice job Lincoln. Really nice.

Just a note maybe worth mentioning. I currently own the Ford Explorer ST. This model has the same engine and transmission with a couple of different suspension and sport features. At around 3K miles, my transmission started burning transmission fluid and failing to shift properly. The transmission issues increased until I was forced to leave it with the maintenance shop at my local dealership in Maryland. The transmission has failed and requires repair or replacement. My dealer is working on repairing the transmission, "a transmission overhaul". Needless to say, I am not happy with this situation. Ford Motor Company has determined that this car is a "lemon" as described by Maryland law or by their own determination. They are working on preparing an offer to buy back the car. I loved the car but I will likely replace with the Aviator. I am highly interested in the Grand Touring version for the power increase relative to my ST. I was planning on tuning the ST. My biggest issue with the ST is comfort. The seats are very stiff and I really couldn't find a comfortable seat position, the massage feature helped a bit. Has anyone heard about any issues with the new 10-speed transmission? I believe the Aviator and Explorer are the only Ford/Lincoln vehicles with this new transmission. I believe there is a variant that is in the F-150 but it's a slightly heavier duty version, so they say. Any thoughts on the transmission subject would be great. Thanks.

My parents are waiting for theirs. I’m excited but it can’t get here anytime soon because of everything we have going on right now. They are waiting for the Black label version they wanted a sliver one but they couldn’t get it. When we tried to get the sliver one it said it wasn’t available even tho it was on the lot why sell something that’s not available to purchase even tho it’s on the lot which it should not be. My cousin passed away on Sunday he got shot. Sooo we can’t wait much longer for it to get here. We have always been buying Infiniti’s because that’s what has been working for us back when I had all my siblings but now that I only have my one brother since all off my family is all over the place. But we made the switch to Lincoln soo yay! We may get a second one. We are coming from a BMW 320i which was good when we first got it. Now it’s just why did we buy it because there is no leg room back I literally have to ask my dad to move his seat up because he sits in my shoes that’s how much room I have. It almost 102,000 miles on it. So it’s definitely time. And it’s a 2013 I think it 26,000 miles when it was new idk. This will definitely be a big upgrade from our current car. And we are moving to a new apartment in less than 5 days. And then we have a wedding after that!

Lincoln cars are good for leases in my opinion. They tend to loose prestige and classy in few years after the new model. Which will not compare to the European cars.

Thanks for another TERRIFIC! review. Did I miss it, or does this vehicle have lane "centering". Lane centering makes a big difference from lane "keep" assist.. as I recently test drove two much lower priced offerings with the feature (Hyundai/Kia and Subaru) that have it. No more "ping ponging" back and forth between the lane markers! If not, why doesn't this higher priced, more premium rich, brand offer it?

I wish they wold have made it a 5 seater to compete with the X5 and GLE. These 7 seaters are basically minivans. The Corsair is a 5 seater but it doesn’t have that beefy built to compete with a X5 or GLE. They could jus leave the 7 seater job for the Navigator. Or maybe they can build a proper X5 competitor.

Unfortunately Lincoln loses value extremely fast. Lease it.

Excellent review gentlemen! My very good friend owns one of these, the Reserve model in the roasted interior. It’s an amazing vehicle to enjoy comfort and convenience in. Problem is, Cdn dollars this vehicle is way way up there in price.

Hi Drew and Mason 😄, congrats on getting another dealership partner w/ Lincoln. The 2020 Aviator certainly has no shortage of storage in front and behind the 3rd row. It's so cool where the engine start/stop button is located. I wonder if the model you reviewed has the Lincoln badge that lights up on the center of the grill.

I would probably take this over a Cadillac. I say that with only slight hesitance because of the V6. IMO, Lincoln and Chrysler have always had better interiors than Cadillac and this is no different. Also props for Lincoln not focusing on performance and loud exhaust (like Cadillac) but refinement. Hope Chrysler reintroduces the Aspen following Lincoln's lead.

Lincoln has really turned it around. For a long time they couldn't shake the stigma that their SUVs were used as luxury taxis.... At least here in the NYC area.

I’m not usually a fan of Ford/Lincoln products but this has really caught my eye. It really exemplifies the pinnacle of American luxury.

The price of this beauty is 90k here at China. I’m looking forward to switching my Infinity QX50 2017 for the Lincoln as soon as I see a price drop.

Incredible vehicle. By at almost 74000 dollars.... it better be. It is ridiculous how much it costs and I dont car if it's completely coated in 18k gold. Ludicrous

It cost too much for a vehicle that has a mediocre quality. It's best bet is lease it for three years. If it was a Lexus then its better to buy. The vehicle looks great. The resale value of Lincoln is not that great.

It’s a nice car but . It looked like it was little bumpy on some roads and I heard a lot of wind road noise same complaint as my old Ford Explorer. It’s nice but I am just not feeling the overpriced rebadged explorer. Thanks for the reviews you guys do a good job .

Good looking for sure but so overly complicated and can imagine especially over time all the niggles that will go wrong and will bring this in for many service calls. Give me the simplicity of a Land Cruiser thank you.

I think the Mercedes GLE has a slight edge over this far as interior design but not by much. I can’t believe American luxury is on the same parallel as the Germans.

Love it, the headlights takes some getting used to but I want one very soon.

I purchased Aviator Black Label two weeks ago and it has Outstanding design and technology but!!! After driving it 500 miles only here what I got: front left speaker broken, system many glitches, and engine oil leak. I will return it to the dealer to do what he can do or return my money back.

I was determined to buy one of these after listening to all of the comments and reviews on it. Nobody has talked about how it drives. It has all the feel of driving a dump truck.
