It's really sad that almost every truck that you guys preview is an automatic. What happened to people being able to drive clutch. What happened to the industry, it's in the toilet. 18 speed manual or nothing for me.
Manufacturers working on improving automatic transmissions not only for trucks - it is for any vehicle. It is something unusual noways to see new car with manual transmission and transmission itself much improved compare to what it was 5 I'm not even mention 10 years ago. Some drivers sad, some angry, some just miss those, but it looks like manual transmission is a thing of the past. Sitting in the traffic and changing gears 100x in a minute will make mad any driver, but with automatic is not that bad...
@@InterUnetAutomotive have been in the business for forty years I'm one of the angry guys because of all the nonsense change. Old guys don't like change.
I learned to drive a truck because I LIKE shifting gears...interacting and becoming one with the vehicle as opposed to pressing a button and holding a steering wheel. I'm also not glued to my phone 24 hours a day either....guess I am turning into an old man.
Probably about as reliable as any modern diesel that has to eat its shit. Probably reliable until it hits its 1st 100k -150k miles and then will start having DEF related issues. You can only eat your shit so long before your going to get sick!
