Yess... SM artis not attending MAMA since then... But 2020 we think they reconcile. Nct start in music show Mcountdown. If im not mistaken NCT get stage in MAMA 2017, 127 get rookie of the year, dream have opening stage, n special stage of all NCT units, the raw Black on Black. But that was the last stage. In Mama 2020 we get Taemin, NCt2020, and BOA. Even they use NCT as theme.

If I'm not mistaken, after NCT World 2.0 which is by MNET, SM artists are performing on MNET again. For MAMA awards last year 2019, WayV is the only SM artist who performed.

Actually, SM had been boycotting mnet for some time, for example nct u with Make a wish in 2020 was the first sm artist to attend m countdown in two years (the last one was shinee in 2018), and as for the MAMA, none of the artist attended mama 2018, only wayv attended in 2019 (they just debuted, and also they are from the sub label, maybe thats why), and in 2020 nct as a whole attended mama. As far as I know none of the sm artists except for nct, taemin and boa have been at mama since 2017

I was NOT expecting this reaction omg you HAVE to watch the FULL NCT MAMA 2020 performance now! They opened with "From Hom" bc it's an NCT U song, then each unit did a performance, and then they closed with a full group performance of "Resonance", they absolutely killed it! Also, music video for the Rearranged Version of "From Home", it's beautiful and shows a lot of their moments growing up and training together, I'd recommend waiting to watch it until you actually know all the members since it's more emotional that way, but either it's great to check out and get to hear the song again bc this rearranged version is incredible. Btw, on this live performance here, all the members who came up on stage were NCT's foreign members! Idk if you remember us telling you that this song is about leaving home and finding a new one with NCT and so all the members in that song sing in their first language, and they brought the other foreigners to show that this extends to the rest of NCT too. Just beautiful, SO glad you watched it! Doyoung's high note is insane, Haechan's run are amazing, and the others vocals are beautiful. Watching this live last year was crazy, we were not expecting it at all, we'd also never heard this version before, a lot of started crying immediately lol and so watching the rest of their performance was just even more powerful, especially seeing them end coming together as one.
