@@SHIFTINGGEARScom Indeed.. Crisp review.. Way to go.. very less reviews in youtube are really useful.. Yours definitely is !!! Keep coming up with good content like this
Much more rational in elaborating than most of the reviews. The speech speed is uniform, well pronounced with clarity, without undue exaggeration. Keep it up. Best of luck. Blessings.
A very decent n detailed review. More of mechanical, perfromance n driving experience than only the cosmetic value. Appreciate the explanation of AT for drive modes. Keep up the good work.
This video and all explanations are much better and specially all about AT Gear Box system.....It's help me for rethinking to consider buy Suzuki S-Cross in Bangladesh.....Thanks broooooooooo....@
All RU-vidrs say about fog lamps given are halogen and not led. White led may not be preferred because - It is easy for us to process halogen light . And, that's why fog lights with yellow color are preferred by car drivers, especially in bad weather conditions. Yellow color is less frustrating for the eyes than blue or white shades. The purpose behind using selective yellow light is to improve the visibility.
I really appreciated the details about the car as well as the education about the gearing. A bit more information on rear cabin space (always better to use the rear seat to show its relative size) and the boot would have been great. This will now be my go-to channel for detailed reviews. Very impressive review.
Howz the performance of automatic in inclined / ghat section of highway? Manageable or steaming out the breath? Confused between manual vs AT . I would have 50 % highway run.
Excellent explanation of gear box. I am still skeptical of this 4 speed gearbox as I do highway almost every alternate weeks and wish it had 6 speed gearbox. 6 speed, sunroof (kids wish and I started liking it too) and rear vent as always packed drives - are the deal breakers for me. Wish they have these in top end.
Very well reviewed automatic gearbox function. Have booked the ZETA AT model for my driving pleasure not particularly adventurous. Took a short test drive. Liked it especially for a sr citizen 😀.
Why don’t you make a video on how to drive a AT Scross/car. The use of N shift lever is not very clear especially on a red light halt; can we engage the N shift lever and take the right foot off the brake instead of keeping the foot on the brake with the D lever engaged. Which is the right method? Thanks.
@Shiting gears, PLEASE suggest me, Verna Sx Ivt or S Cross Automatic, MY daily commute is 30 kms to n fro, weekend around 100 km, Verna Sx ivt has wireless charger and sunroof, Scross has more ground clearance, please give your suggestions, I am confused.
Good review, well explained, my query on the 4 Speed AT which i had is now resolved. But i do feel if MSI can provide 5 speed AMT in WagonR and Celerio or even Swift, then here it would have been also possible.
I am searching for fun to drive car punchy engine high pickup and driving pleasure. Which one will be the best...XUV 300 DIESEL, CRETA DIESEL, TURBO DUSTER OR ANY OTHER CAR.. PLEASE SUGGEST..
Nice n detailed review bro 👍🏻☺️ Bro can you explain Scross Hill hold assistant feature and if you drive in hill area and show us how to use Hill hold feature in your video it will be awesome 👏🏻 Big Hi from Kerala 😊
On undivided highways when we need to overtake trucks with oncoming vehicles from the other side, if we put overdrive off, can we do the overtaking smoothly? In other words, I'd instant acceleration good enough to overtake on undivided highways?
Sir.... Honda Jazz VX CVT (11L) or S-Cross Delta AT (12.5L)in terms of mileage & low cost of ownership. My main preferences are peaceful cabin experience & ride quality. I plan to keep it for 10+ years 50% City & 50% Highway driving. Daily 70km via rough roads.
Very detailed and useful review. Some of it I could not find in other reviews. A couple of Q's if you can please respond - 1. Will 4 speed AT work well on hills? 2. 6-8 years from now will AT have a decent resale value. Thinking from TCO. perspective.
Yes, the gearbox should work well in hilly areas as well. You have multiple modes for better control. In 6-8 years, it will have a similar resale like the manual gearbox variants. But we don't think the S-Cross will stay on sale for another 6-8 years.
Do you have average fuel mileage under real life conditions for the Scross auto. Is the gear ratio between 3 and 4 very long and is the gap very noticeable?
if i am buying a an automatic will that be wrong decision when compared to manual in terms of power? What about the fuel efficiecny of automatic? Is that overdrive feature adequate to coverup that lag in sudden overtaking
Hi.. can u explain in detail about hill hold assist control in s cross AT. How effective is it on steep hills. Does car roll back like AMT versions or its better. Thnx.
Very detailed review. 👍👍. I am planning to buy this car because of the price(space and features) compared to other rivals(both sub 4m n above 4m). Is it a right decision. 2nd I am confused between zeta automatic n alpha manual. I drive 50% city and 50% highways and that 2 not daily. Please suggest
Dude I have recently bought zeta model of this beauty. ( manual ) . It cost me around 11.20 (delhi ). I would personally recommend you the zeta model only as alpha variant has got only leather seats and drls but a cost difference of around 2 lakhs.
99% of time one wont have any problem with this 4 speed automatic gear box...the overdrive on/off button is very handy on highways, should u wish to perform any sudden overtake maneuver.. Infact quite a joy and easy to use. Infact it does the same function as a (-) paddle shifter would do.. Just that its a button on gear lever and not actually a PS
Appreciate if you could give me a good suggestion for a car with ground clearance and a budget of under 15 Lakhs. Looking for a worry free ownership experience..
Really good explanation of this vehicle. Couple of doubts here. If we stopped in traffic should we need to shift to neutral or can stand in the gear itself. Second, comparing between Kushaq automatic top variant and SCross automatic top variant, I see spacewise and mileage Maruti has advantage. In addition to that everything looks same except for fancy ambient lighting , sunroof, cornering lights and of course the rear AC vent in Kushaq. Any inputs on this will be helpful.
Guys suggest me S CROSS automatic or Seltos ivt, my daily run is 30 km in the city, weekend around 100 km, Seltos is around 3L costlier than S CROSS, Seltos has advance looks and features, S CROSS gives better mileage.
Hi. I have been waiting for this car for quite some time and in meantime test drove Honda city cvt and love the car. Would you pls suggest if the new honda city has sufficient ground clearance. I own a xl6 and not very happy with maruti cabin quality. I wanted an automatic car below 15L with decent ground clearance
If you have the Maruti Suzuki car for now, then why not go for Honda next. Serves as a good change. New City will do decent in the ground clearance department as well.
@@sangamgupta9830 means after you accelerate for some time, let the car run with the momentum without any engine power. For example, take it up to 80 kmph and then stop accelerating. Start accelerating again when the speed comes down to 60 kmph.
Hey, is this car built on Suzuki's global C platform or heartect platform? On the website it says Suzuki's tect platform. Does tect platform equivalent to heartect?
Appreciate your review. keep going and all the best. I am frankly confused with the options available for instance the Sonet, Venue, Creta and Seltos for the features and safety that they offer at this price point or at a little premium over the S cross. The S cross looks a little bland in comparison.
If it's cabin space, sonet and venue should be out of the list..They are too cramped . Creta and Seltos are way more costlier if you are considering the automatic variant.
Scross interirors and exterior looks are very premier and elegant.... cabin space is huge....ride quality is awesome...but if someone drivers at speeds more than 100-120 regularly than 4 speed AT may have some limitations... otherwise 4 speed AT is v good based upon my personal experience
Hi Thanks for the review. I'm debating whether to buy an Scross or wait for brreza, that is going to be relaunched in its new version soon. Will be buying the AT version. There is hardly any price difference. Ive also heard that the Scross is likely to be discontinued soon. The daily average drive will be 20 kms, in heavy traffic though. The car to be driven by a lady. Considering the mid version. Appreciate your response. Rgds
50% city and 50 % highway run. Need petrol automatic SUV. Confused in shortlisted cars XUV 300 ( compromised boot space and jerky AMT); S Cross ( basic AT, less safety and overall features) Nissan Magnite ( fuel efficiency, longitivity of CVT and car's long term maintenance ). Plz guide. Budget upto 12-13 lacs. PS. Don't like Nexon.
Too much yelling, can hardly hear engine tone or get a sense of NVH, video content needs revision. Anyone who knows how to operate a cell phone can easily figure out what power windows, infotainment or climate controls do. What we need is a solid pitch from vloggers for S-Cross vs. competing cars such as Hyundai or Kia with a ton of features. BTW 2 & L transmission modes are not commonly used on highways, it is for whenever you need better traction on slopes and slippery roads together with hill hold assist. Would have luved to see a demo of that in tricky spots.
