343 hours on my GC1710 tlb. Welcome to the family friend. I was so impressed with my GC I also bought a 1726e. Only one word EXCELLENT Tractor. I have the belly mower, front blade, front snowblower, front rotary broom, rear blade, rake, post hole digger, brush hog, tow bar, boom lift, and sicklebar mower. Reach out for any questions that might come up, I’ll be happy to help. This thing will not disappoint you. The very best of luck to you, priority one...stay safe, everything else is replaceable.
I got the older 1710 (with backhoe), great tractor. I'd say the loader joystick on the fender, the tilt steering, and the flat floor mat, all great improvements. Enjoy!
I have the 2018 version of this with backhoe. It’s been totally awesome. First thing I did was upgrade to the skid-steer quick attach system that was coming out on the 2019’s. I have 3 different front end attachments now for it and it’s probably the most useful new feature. It’s just hitting enough hours for it’s first service.
sorry to be off topic but does anybody know a way to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my account password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Gunner Brennan Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I watched this video before making my decision this week. I took delivery a few days ago of a 2022 with a backhoe and some implements. I’m super excited. Only thing is that when I remove the backhoe, the 3 point arms can rub the backhoe braces, could be operator error. Otherwise, a phenomenal machine!
I found one of these in my area for sale very low hours something like 27hr. With loader and a 54 in mower. Asking 15k,its tempting! Little advice always give the motor a minute or so to warm up before going to work with it.
I own the same tractor, but with the backhoe. Great machine. I did notice that you revved up the Diesel engine shortly after start up. You should always slow the engine to thoroughly warm up. Have fun!
Those are nice tractors ! I was looking at buying one of these GC series , But ended up buying the the 2018 compact M-F 1526 I wanted a little bigger tractor , But they come with the same 3 cylinder engine ( diesel ) Iseki & they are facing forward & these are great performing engines & is rated at 25 HP & the 1st tractor I owned I bought used a 1959 M-F 50 gasoline 34 HP utility I've had it for 25 years & it has been a great tractor that I still use year round & it was a great influence on my purchase of another Massey-Ferguson & they're both keepers & the 1526 I bought mostly because of front loader & 4wd ,& to load stuff into my 1 ton dump truck & snow removal. My brother is getting his 1st new tractor in 4 weeks after doing a little over a years research & comparing & is golng with a M-F GC 1723 EB ( YAY! ) It will be the 1st tractor ever for him.
I am planning on ordering a 1723E with the loader and bucket like you have but I also want to add the 60" mid mount mower. I would like to see a video on using the bucket to clear snow if you can. Great video, it has influenced my decision and I think it is going to be the right one.
Good deal Steve! I tried to be as detailed as possible, they are definitely a much better option than the rest. To me they are the last standing “true” tractor because they make all their parts heavy duty like a tractor should be. Once the snow hits here in NY I will do an updated video for you. Thanks for the review!
I just got one like yours 2 weeks ago. A few things I did to it already was. Moved the back lights to the inside of rop. I didn't drill any holes.. i notched the light housing to run the wire on the outside of the bar,, a couple of zip ties. Added armrest to the seat off ebay for 90.00. Added the 12v plug in the storage compartment. Forgot I filled the rear tires with winter washer fluid. Got the adapter off Amazon, to use with a little pump I have.
Thanks for the comment. That is a good idea with the lights. Also, where did you find the armrests for the seat? Anyway you can post the link on here? I’d like to get some for mine thanks
@@PINEHILLOUTDOORS33 i was able to line up one hole. Then made a new hole for the top one. I used a rivnut for the center one. Felt pretty strong with just the 2 . www.ebay.com/itm/223981285397
Congrats on the purchase! I have a 2010 GC2610. One word of advice - watch the lights on the ROPS. You will inevitably catch one on a tree branch! Looking forward to your next video.
I live in upstate NY and just purchased a 1725m from CNY Farm Supply. How has your tractor held up? How is CNY service? This was my first purchase from them. Thanks for your video.
Great choice! I only have about 20 hours right now but it has been awesome. Amazing how much power these smaller tractors product. CNY is really good too, their service and prices are hard to beat. Enjoy yours!
How is cny farm supply to deal with? I’m looking at this exact tractor and live about 4 miles from there. I thought I recognized the accent then I saw the sticker. Lol
I've been thinking about one of these massey ferguson tractors. I live in the Endicott area. We just got 41 inches snow this last week and had to have my neighbors dig me out with there kubota tractors. I'm wondering how the price compares to kubota? I'm hoping the massey if considerably less.
Small world, I live about 20 minutes from Binghamton! You won’t be disappointed with the Massey. I’ve also owned a similar sized Kubota and John Deere. The prices are all pretty similar anymore. I spent about $700 more on the Massey than the others I looked at, there is a considerable power difference that I notice and that’s why I went with it as well as the excellent quality. The 84 month 0% APR is hard to beat!
I hope you have better luck than I do with mine there's absolutely nothing about it that I can brag about the hydraulic system is very weak it won't hardly do anything at all the bucket bounces back and forth unless you run engine wide open to keep them pump running fast if you've got a heavy load in the bucket and trying to turn the front tires at the same time the power steering goes out because there's no flow to the steering when you got a heavy load in the bucket and trying to lift it it looks like a bucking bronco the locker doesn't really want to lock until you get to move in quite a little bit and then it snatches when it does lock in gear too many other problems to list but not a recommendation I would put out there look at one of the other brands of tractor I think if it had a better hydraulic system the tractor might be what you you could say it was an okay tractor the only reason I bought this particular tractor was they deliver and the price was a little cheaper than the other ones but you get what you pay for I'm paying the consequences for it now
The main differences for the 1725 are +2 hp. A little bit more torque for running implements. A little more hydraulic flow. Then they add accessories such as premium seat, arm rests, protection around your caution/turn signal lights, electrical charging outlet. It’s all what you prefer in a tractor.
When I bought my 1723 it was over 3000 dollars to move up to a 1725. It was hard to justify for arm rests,12volt outlet and tail light guards. You might get faster hydraulics but they are definitely running a higher rpm. Compare the tachometers. I'm guessing they crank up the injector pump on 1725 to get the 2 horsepower and higher rpm. I would love for a tech to set the record straight and if you can turn up the pump on a 1723. I realize it will void warranty but sure could use extra 2 HP sometimes
