Tips for UK: Lane splitting is legal and everyone does it, Police won't chase you most of the time due to safety, be careful of undercover feds too, enjoy it here man ;)

I tried to race an undercover copper 😂 I saw an Audi s3 at the lights and was like you’re getting it and when it went amber I was at like 40mph looked in my mirror and saw the front bumper which was modded for the lights 😂 and I backed right off 😂

You stopped at birdlip in the cotswolds thats where I lead trail rides from :) a fact you probably wont know is that in the uk we have trails for road legal dirtbike called byways all across the country which you can ride at any time which are essentially old roads that have broken down to the point where they are just dirt and rocks

Been watching for a good amount of years. One of your reviews about the Yamaha R3 (wheelie one) aside from a whole bunch of other readings and reviews was one of the factors I bought one. Been loving it ever since and close to 20k miles in just about a year on it. It costed me around 2000 euro's to get my license and it took roughly 4 months to complete due to the schedule being full. Thankfully since I am older I could go for the heavy license, meaning I can drive anything. I do have to say that in Holland we have mandatory safety coarse. Meaning you have to actually pass an exam showing that you can control the bike in all kinds of situations. Slow speeds, slow 8's on a roads, u turns, fast stops, emergency stops, walking speeds with controlling the throttle. Even tho that brings extra time and money into the license, it does help you control the bike a hell of a lot more in a very safe environment. You call it a privilege that you can get your test done in like 2 days, but for Europe, roads are Super crowded and Waaaay smaller then the ones in the US, except for like places like straight up New York. So in a way, I like those coarse. It brings a lot of safety to the driver but also the ones around him. Amazing to see you in the UK even tho I live in Holland. If you ever have the opportunity to tour more of Europe, go for it. Its breath taking. (Holland around the Veluwe or deeper down towards Limburg as well. Amazing routes that can go deep in France and or Germany with beautiful scenery and amazing corners. Good roads to! Been looking at either a Ducati or MV Agusta for a second bike. Seeing you on the F3 800 2020 has not made it easier haha.

In the 80's In the uk you could ride up to a 250cc on a learner and when you passed your test it was unlimited cc, them were the days

David winter Australia we can ride 650cc on learners. And provisionals, then unlimited after that

Oof in switzerland u can have a 50cc at 16 and when you do another test at 18 you can have a bike with up to 47hp and then you need to do another test wich in order for u to be allowed to do, u have to have either ridden for 2 years or be 25 and then you can have unlimited hp It sucks but its safe So basically alot is the same only you can now have more power at a younger age

@@niklask3696 yeah that’s pretty much all over the eu like this. In germany it‘s 125cc with 16, then at 18 you are allowed to ride bikes limited to 48hp if they don‘t have more then 95ps unlimited. rest is the same as in switzerland

Im from UK welcome!, the zigzag lines are the approach and exit of the pedestrian crossing, and you can’t park on them and you cant over take the leading vehicle either, thats all it means, wicked video!

There are pursuit trained police that drive around in Seat leon Cupras, Golf R, bmw, audi etc lots of nice fast cars. But then there are regular police in slow cars and vans. Also they have some really unusual unmarked cars. I saw a green 2010 ford mondeo pull someone over which I would never expect to be an undercover.

I did a week long intensive course to get my license about 4 years ago. You can only do it if your over 24, or like you say it takes years to work your way up here in England.

@@RideThe6 Is it torquey.. 🤔 Apparently the new ones are A2 friendly but I don't want to risk it if the wick turned up is effectively the same as having an in corked track bike.

@@F1ll1nTh3Blanks Yes I would say it's torquey. I just looked up a few specs on bikes to compare. An F3 675 has more torque than a Yamaha R6 at 600 RPM less. But just like any bike, it's how you ride it. The F3 has three engine modes from the factory - Normal, Rain, and Sport. I have not taken it out of normal mode yet. lol. Rain mode should be a fairly safe mode to ride it in if you are too worried on the power of the bike.

in the philippines, if you got license, you could ride any cc bike you want and any car you desire, as long as it is a private car/ bike. or get a business kinda license for business cars. 1 licenses for anything you desire

The restriction came in for A, A2 and A1 category because a lot of the younger motorcyclists were killed by hopping on Busa's, ZXR's, GSXR's and loosing traction, misjudging corners, not considering the things that you usually would in a car. In the UK as you have probably seen, most of the roads aren't the best and they're more narrow because the standard vehicle width in the UK is different than the US. In the US from what I've seen, roads, highways and streets are generally kept in better condition and with the road being wider you have less probabilities of hitting potholes, miss placed drain covers and you can also have a more comfortable visual in your riding position in contrast to the UK. You should check out Wales while you're near there in Gloucester, amazing views and some fun roads too. Anyway, enough to bore you, welcome to our home Dank 🤙🏼

In Europe and the UK If your 25 and over you can do your licence and ride any bike straight away. if your 19 you can do an A2 so limited power/weight for 2 years then upgrade other than that its not that long of a process. although its a lot more expensive around $500 for full licence and can take a few months to do the tests because of the waiting line etc.. and the test is actually pretty strict. If you go back id recommend Scotland... MUCH better roads than in England, more bikes in the summer and less speed cameras haha. roundabouts are great fun! especially on a supermoto thats where you wear in and warm up your tires, practice getting knee down/lean angle!

In the uk to ride an 800 you need to be 24 but when you turn can do something called A2 licence which allows you to ride certain bikes as long as they are restricted

The zig-zags on the road mean no parking at any time and no overtaking. They put them near pedestrian crossings and outside schools and hospitals to ensure visibility / safety for pedestrians. You can get a 3 penalty point fine for parking on one.
