Preach!!!! I've started braiding my 4c hair with no added extensions for 3 mths at a time and I was so shocked to realise upon undoing them that my hair was bra length. Following you has really helped me on my journey so whenever people ask I send them your way. Thanks again and all the best!!!

Wow😱 amazing. Saw your vid in seborrheic dermatitis, and saw this one. Very pretty. Idk what I’m doing wrong, but I still have S.D. for awhile now, doc prescribed me a topical oil steroid. Brought inflammation down, better than before. I changed my eating habits...the list goes on... idk sucks, think I’m to stressed out, I know that plays a role, but I take it day by day. Hey there!I'm also a Nigerian, I've been using your onion juice,I found out when I used the boil method it defines my hair more than the blend method.....i plan to be consistent with it this year My hair goal this year is to get thicker hair,and herbs are so difficult to find in Nigeria . Herbs are actually a lot easier to find in Nigeria. Go to any market. You can use Ugu, Bitter Leaf and even a lot of the pepper soup herbs on your hair. For the leaves, blend them with a little bit of water then, strain out the fibers. Use the juice part on your scalp.

Just like everyone has different and unique hair texture ... the shade and color of our hair is also different. But, I did notice that my hair got darker after using my Onion Juice recipe consistently for a while

This is unrelated but, would a sealing oil or a penetrating oil better for the scalp?

It best not to put too much oil on your scalp to avoid clogging your pores. So, use altitude at a time and make sure to keep up with wash days. The beat oils to use on your scalp are penetrating oils compared to sealing oils. If you use a sealing oil or a thicker oil just make sure to be consistent with wash days. That’s the most important thing

I'm suffering from uneven hair growth. my right side of my head grows so much faster and thicker than my left which seems to have been in a plateau for about 2 years. Any thoughts on how to remedy it? I would be waist length by now but I keep cutting it to match my left side which just reached APL.

@@sable7114 i seem to do more harm on my right side, yet it flourishes. Im partially deaf, primarily on my left ear, so all the phone talking is really on my right ear. One day i reassessed everything and thought, well, why cant i copy what i do on my right side onto my left... i slept on it, neglected it, finger combed it... and nope.. nothing, my right side kept on thriving. One thing is DEFINETELY different though. I have intense chronic pain on my right neck region, and sometimes i spend a large amount of time massaging that area, but i wouldnt think it's the cause to my hair on that side to grow longer and fuller.... unless....?

I do ... my hair got darker, longer and bulked up way before I got pregnant. It’s gotten even more dense during my pregnancy due to these good ole hormones. I’ll show you how it turns out after my hormones balance back to normal.

Some pregnancies it works like that, all of mine were but my sis not so much. Her hair shedded the whole time and after the baby her hair just sprouted! We never knew what it was but we're glad it reversed! Looking forward to baby updates✌🏾

Yes my hair is naturally fine I'm just not a hairy person. My eyebrows are thin and I've never shaved a day in my life. When I was pregnant my hair got so long and thick. Once baby was born it all fell out and now I'm back to my normal hair lol.

For the most part I purposely go out of my way to search type 4 or 4c hair content, so I avoid getting hung up on wanting someone else hair, lol. It also means that RU-vid is more likely to show type 4 hair content, that I would otherwise miss out on.

I’ve learned to do this myself and it makes a world of difference!! I hated my hair when I first went natural back in 2009. Now, IMO.... 4c is THE BEST!!! That’s why everybody is claiming 4c

@@GreenBeauty I can't go by hair type. As with many others, i have at least 3 different textures and porosities. Through trial and error (and set backs - Thank you GreenBeauty for being transparent about your setbacks) I just found what works overall for health and maintenance. My hair began to flourish after I focused more scientifically on Ayurveda, herbs and supplements.

I'm about to start using rollersets to stretch and air dry in them. Stretching with twists jacks up my ends and my hair is too fine for blow drying. Anybody regularly roller set to stretch and find that it helps you retain legnth?

My goal this year is to bulken/thicken me hair. I was able to grow my hair to the very top of my (tmi) butt crack. In December, for my birthday, I cut it up to my waist. My hair was so long but it was so thin towards the ends and I'd rather have thick dense long hair than thin breaking super long hair, you know? I'm ready for this year to be the year that I take my trims and my herbal treatments seriously.

I think that is great advice. When I was young I was always wishing for someone melse's hair. But as you discover your own hair can have some tricks of its own, you are on your way.
