I worked on the F4's during the Vietnam era as an aviation electrician. It was definitely a love/hate relationship! After all, anything that has the capability to fly sideways, upside down, and yes, even level at times at Mach 2.28 has to be stuffed together, as well as totally safety wired. In today's world, we no longer have the VA aircraft, and the VF aircraft, I guess?? ...in the U.S. Navy, the VFA F-18 Hornets & Super Hornets do the work. However, in the Vietnam War, the F4's were often used in both the fighter purposes OR the bombing purposes! VA & VF!
@@MrBen527 Thank you. I was serving in the IAF during early 80's so I was lucky to see them all: A-4 Skyhawks F-4 Phantoms , F-15 ,F-16 and IAI Kfir c-7 all flying over my head.
Beautiful legendary fighter and I want it to remain operational for many more decades instead of wasting more money on that useless f35 that is too obsolete and expensive, and the same is true for Greece.
Until now, I have never seen such a lot while continuing the phantom engine run-up. And this is probably the last. Thanks to the pilots and maintenance staff. 今までファントムのエンジンランナップを続けてこんなに沢山見た事はありませんでした。そして多分これが最後でしょう。 パイロットと整備の方々にご苦労様と言いたいです。
