I forgot that any time I elaborate on "go rescue a dog" there are lots of people who feel the need to remind me that there are "good" breeders. That's your opinion. I happen to believe that humanity has reached a point where we have done TOO MUCH. There are just way too many dogs. We've created this problem, and not enough people are fixing it. So, no, I don't like any breeders and I don't understand how anyone can happily pay for a brand new puppy while healthy dogs are being euthanized. I get it... you want a cute puppy. Be better. Go rescue a dog. 💙
I agree with your point on rescue dogs, I truly do. I wish a rescue dog was something that would work out at as a service dog but unfortunately not all rescues can be service dogs. A lot of times rescues come with trauma that can cause them not to be able to function under certain conditions and fear biting can become a public hazard. Some rescues can be service dogs but some can't, so people who need service animals have to get them from a breeder to ensure that the dog does not have any history of trauma.
I remember your iconic quote, "Page and Molly love you, go rescue a dog." Me and my two cats Izabelle and Samantha hope you have a good Christmas this year.
Dude I want someone like Stacy in my life. She just seems like someone I could get along with. And she lives animals bruhhh, I'm gonna be a vet when I'm older too
I don’t have any questions, but I just wanted to say that you’re one of the most responsible pet owners ever. You know what you can afford, how other animals affect your own animals, and you care for their health so much. You are such a respectable pet owner Stacy! Thanks for the updates on your fur babies!
Duude I haven’t watched you since you were first moving into your place, I used to watch you all the time, it’s been so long, nice to see you’re still around! ❤️
Bruh, I literally haven't watched one of your videos in forever, then I got you in my recommendations !!! I used to love watching you and Joey play Minecraft!!! Still subbed after these years
Same here. Was actually binge watching some of Lizzie's Minecraft videos and long behold RU-vid reccomend this very video for me to watch. Can't believe I was still subscribed after all this time.
I haven’t even had a chance to watch the video yet, but I just want to start by saying thank you. It’s been really nice to be able to look forward to your streams and these vlogmas vids and as much as I miss the “old and classic Stacyplays videos” I’m loving being able to get to see you more as a person. You have been a large part of my life, like many of us who grew up watching your channel, and you continue to inspire me to keep writing and continue creating even when I feel like what I’m making is not good enough. Thank you for that and so much more. I hope you continue to do what makes you happy in life, even if that is stepping away from RU-vid and social media in general, just know you have thousands of people routing for you! Also, so sorry about your grandpa, you will get through this, we are all here supporting you
Something about molly is I never thought she would outlive page! Just because when you got molly she had a lot of complications with her health! And page always been healthier! Sweet page! Rest In Peace angel!💗
My parents adopted two dogs right at the beginning of the lockdown (They literally picked them the same day they brought me my kids back after spring break), rescues from a dog hoarding situation and one of them was heartworm positive. She's doing great now though.
My cousin owns a tibetan mastiff. They are huge and surprising friendly when you get the know them. But they are also really protective. If they are out, they bark like crazy once it's night time. Other than that, they basically sleep during the day time and loves to be around people they feel safe. So overall they are really chill dogs
The pheromones work for sure. I work at a vet and the drs reccomend it all the time. I'm glad Pip is doing OK and let me just say it's so nice to see someone take their pets health seriously!
I just ordered the Feliway plug in to try on my cats. I have two tripawds (three-legged cats!) who are very rambunctious and tend to not pick up on each others queues for when play time is getting too rough. Fingers cross that this helps them learn to read each other better! So glad that all your furbabies are doing well. This was such a heartwarming update.
Hey Stacy my cat Merlin also has flutd (urinary crystals) we also had a scary moment when Merlin was first diagnosed. You've mentioned keeping his stress levels and having too keep him calm. Merlin has been on hills science diet wet and dry food c/d urinary care, chicken flavor. He's been on it for over 8 years with no incidents. He gets his urine tested every year just too make sure. Also hills carry the stress food that's also c/ d urinary care. Wet and dry. If I have any more questions please ask me Ive had Merlin for over 13 years and he's still happy and healthy
I'm glad to hear that most everyone is doing well. Pip's case is a bit concerning, but I know you'll stay on top of anything going on, and make sure he lives as happy and pain-free a live as possible! I agree to adopt whenever possible. All of my family's cats are adopted. The three we have now are all from the same shelter, this amazing place with only a couple of local branches. But in the past we've also taken in cats from people who couldn't keep theirs anymore. (For example: our Chester, who passed almost a decade ago, we took in because his family moved and couldn't take him. There's also Noche, who passed about five years ago now, who was a street cat and the family fostering her was worried they'd hurt their baby. Ironically, she became super attached to me and my sibling and saw us as her kittens.)
Ahhh I’m so glad that your back! I remember watching you when I was young and because of you i got into Minecraft and other RU-vidrs. You also always made my day so thank you for posting again!!
My kitten (now just over a year) had a mild concussion a few months ago and ever since had very strange epileptic sort of seizures every now and then. Our vet also recommended a Feliway. She has become the most snuggly sweet cat and her and her sister groom and cuddle each other all the time now. Her seizures also are almost completely gone. We tested how her behaviour would change when plugging out the Feliway and she almost immediately became a lot more restless and looked kinda stressed. I'm so happy to know this seems to work for little Pippy as well!
Driving in the snow. Where I live if it snows you're on your own. You either come up with your own transportation or you are stuck for a day or two until it melts. If it's really bad sometime they will get a snowplow from the north side of the state, but that's rare.
I rescued my dog, Cooper, last year and he was also heartworm positive. I was SO nervous when they said he couldn't run around for a few weeks post-treatment, but luckily he was a bit lazy and wanted to snuggle and hang out most of the time lol. These days, I wake up most mornings with his head on my shoulder. I think he knows he was rescued
Hi Stacy I love you so much I’ve been watching your video since like day one every single one of your vlogs gaming videos and stream and literally every thing I’m over joy your back
Having a dog certainly is committing, but is a rewarding experience. Usually the things that take that level of commitment in life are the most worthwhile :) 💜
I mean, pheromones are how a lot of creatures communicate. I’m a bio/pre-vet major and we touched a bit on them in one of my bio classes. It’s actually really cool how they work!
Oh poor Pip I can't even imagine how uncomfortable that was for him. I'm so glad you were able to catch it in time. Your pets are so fortunate to have a mom like you. I can tell it goes both ways. That pheromone machine sounds crazy. Thanks for the update on your very sweet pets.
I wasn't watching stacy's videos anymore because I stopped getting her notifications and I AM SO HAPPY that I'm watching again Also Stacy I loved page soooooooo much and I am so so so very sorry that page passed away and I was watching your video's when she passed and If you see this
We use the collar version of Feliaway and agree that it makes a huge difference in temperament & marking. The plugin definitely works better but we have birds and the avian vet thought it could be detrimental to our birds.
honestly, i’ve watched your channel since i was 14 and i’m 20 now loll, and your vlogs always makes me feel at peace. it also makes me wanna visit the US once covid is over and when i have a stable job, it’s a bucket list!!
I'm so happy you are posting on this channel again. I LOVED watching your cabin update videos when you were in the process of renovating the cabin when you first bought it.
It was so nice to hear an update of all the pets. I’m so glad they’re all doing great!!! Pipsqueak and Milquetoast have grown into such beautiful cats, and it’s so so cute how they cuddle. I was loling at “A pee off” hahahaha
hello Stacy! 😊 I can’t believe I am the first comment but I love keeping up with the vlogmas that you have made. I know it is hard to lose a pet, but I am glad all of your other pets are doing really well ❤️
I distinctly remember you rescuing Milquetoast when it happened. wow, it's been six years?? that's crazy!! I don't remember when I started watching your videos, but I've been here for a while. love ya Stace!!
I just adopted a dog and her name is Hope. She used to live outside until we adopted her and gave her a great home with our other pets. I still miss Page so much btw, she was such a sweet dog and I loved her Q&A's. ❤
Thanks for the update. My big brother has 7 rescue dogs. All big dogs that live inside his house. He bought a house with lots of room just for his dog. I spoil them all the time by making them your recipe for homemade peanutbutter dog treat.
I’m LIVING for these videos!! I’m glad to see that Pip and Toast are doing good, I love Molly shes a queens she’s always has been. It’s crazy how Chica literally looks like Page I miss her like crazy. I literally forgot about Polly!!! I hope to see her in one of these videos it’s been years. It’s crazy how much I’ve grown I started when I was 11 and now I’m 17😳 Like I was there when you rescued Pip and Toast I want them to be kittens again🥺Love you Stace and thank you for these videos and updates💙🤍💙🤍
The first pic with you and Molly made me smile, so lovely. Milquetoast has such pretty eyes, he's a beautiful cat in general. Pipsqueak, bless his soul. His journey has been something else. I still remember the video going up on his F.I.P diagnosis and crying and thinking he was going to die. Now, to see he is alive and healthy today. Good to get an update on Polly. Chica, in my mind, is like a mini lion of the desert. The funny thing is, we have a cat and a fish. We got the cat first, then the fish and have had them both for close to two years and nothing has ever happened. Either our cat does not care or has not noticed 😂 Oh and R.I.P Page 💜
I cannot BELIEVE it’s been two years since you got pip. I remember when you first got him how much emotion I felt wanting him to survive and look at him now! He’s doing so well! I’m so so glad
JeEZ I haven't watched you for about 4 years Stacy, I remember watching the video you made about Page and I felt so bad since I watched you for years and just saw that video show up I had to watch. I remember when you got Milquetoast oml I was so happy lol. Anywho its nice to see you doing well luv you were a big part of my child hood
My cat Soju had an urinary blockage earlier this year as well. He ended up needing surgery, but is doing so much better now! I hope Pip continues to do well and I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year!
Our vet reccomend that plug in for us! We first got the collar version (our tortoiseshell cat is a DIVA) and it's worked wonderfully she hasn't been fighting with our newest cat even though they had a proper introduction over the course of a month.
Me and my dog Cj would watch your videos for years, just found you again! The odds of that, sadly Cj passed at 16/17 (I'm unsure of his age) in April of this year. It breaks my heart, but I think he led me back where my love for animals started 💔 🤧 ❤
Hey stacy thes videos mean alot to me. When you stopped posting it broke my heart. Your videos saved my life so when you released your books it gave me new life. You have helped me in so many ways thank you Stacy. Hi
Stacy I swear we can be friends! Just love your whole personality. I enjoyed this update video very mucho! ADOPT DON'T SHOP!!!! I adopt Lucas my cat from a shelter 7 years ago and Angel my dog is a rescue from the streets of Peru.
I rescued 2 cats 5 months ago, their names are Kit Kat and Twix. Somehow they are both girls and get along fine too, and they aren’t sisters either! There is a man at my dad’s work who has a TONNN of cats in his shed. He sometimes put out a bowl of cheap cat food, but he lets them be for the most part. He doesn’t pet them, and absolutely no vets! He heard my dad was looking for a free kitten to keep rabbits out of our garden, and offered my dad as many as he wanted for free. The cats bred like crazyyyy. Me and my sister both wanted a different cat, so my dad reluctantly agreed to get 2. I wanted a calico with a patch of black on it’s back that was the shape of a butterfly, and my sister wanted it’s sister, a all white one. When my dad wen to get them, he only found mine and couldn’t catch the one we wanted if he couldn’t get the white. It scratched him so he let it go. But he found a tortoiseshell one who he caught. So he brought them home in a small box, but since they were only about 10 weeks old, they fit. He got out the tortoiseshell who hissed at us, and I got out my little calico. They looked small and sick, and hardly moved from the corner of the cat house we got them. (Did I mention they were going to be outside cats?) The next day, I woke up really early to check on them, and they were gone. We checked the whole cat house, then the whole yard, then the whole neighborhood, but they were nowhere! I started crying, I had wait 2 MONTHS for these cats, and now they were gone just like that! After a few hours, my brother yelled for me to come see something. Under the cat house, they crouched huddled together in a ball of kittens. I was so excited! Speed forward a couple days, the kittens were still in our yard, and even started to walk around. The tortoiseshell was a feisty little thing, I made her a cat toy and she swatted at it, with her claws out. But the calico on the other hand, had no interest in playing. Later that afternoon she threw up. I started crying again, I hate puke and I realized she was more sick than I thought. (Not to mention, it was July 4th and we were about to leave to see fireworks!) We couldn’t take her then, so we left. I wasn’t crying because I loved her that much already, I was crying at how she would most likely die, she had her whole life ahead of her, and I adopted her for what? To shatter my hopes and dreams of having a cute calico cat by her dying at 11 weeks old? I don’t think so. A coupe days passed, and all she did was sleep (she most likely had a fever). Finally, I persuaded my dad to take her to a vet. The vet was packed and couldn’t fit the poor scrap in their schedule. But they did all they could, they weighed her, gave her food, and a diagnosis, she was dying of a upper respiratory infection, that could kill her at this young if not treated soon. We called every vet in town, even some from others, but no one could see her. I was about to start crying again when we tried one last vet, they said they could see her that evening. I was so happy! They gave us medicine, and flea treatment for them both, but said not to be surprised if she didn’t make it. I prayed and prayed, and gave her as much attention as I could, and sure enough, she made a full recovery! Now, she is my sister’s cat, after getting to know the tortoiseshell whom we named Twix, I fell in love with her, and now she’s my cat, and the once sickly calico, Whois name is Kit Kat, is my sister’s. They will now live long and happy lives with my family, and i’m so happy Kit Kat caught my eye in that picture of her I saw the day she was born, she could be dead right now, but instead she’s living with me, having a better live than that man could ever give her or Twix. Thank you for reading this if you made it this far, I hope you found Kit Kat and Twix’s rescue story interesting! If you read this Stacy, if you left a comment, (which I would appreciate a ton) I would probably scream and faint 😂 you were such a huge part of my childhood, Page and Molly love you, go rescue a dog! (Or cat)
