I hold the solid belief that if Bama was full strength (Dickerson and Waddle mainly) then this Bama team could’ve beat the 2019 LSU team. The offense was such a juggernaut
The could beat without. The execution of the O in the last 3 games was UNSTOPPABLE! I've never seen anything like it. The could've probably beat the jet's
I'll start by giving props to that LSU team, they did what they needed to do to win and earned it. Congrats. That being said, anyone who watched the game could clearly tell that Tua was very tentative with his newly repaired ankle the entire first half. He looked like he was trying to avoid putting pressure on it as much as possible. In the second half, you could see a big difference in that he seemed comfortable that it was ok. Had he been that way in the first half, we wouldn't have been down by 20 and almost certainly could have won. But that's why we play games on the field, rather than just look at stats to guess who wins. RTR!!
I'm a gator fan and I love watching this game. This is wat football is about and I'm proud of my 2020 gators. They beat all odd and made it to face bama and went toe to toe!!!🐊👏🐊👏🐊 #gatornation
This game was epic, so many calls going either way could have caused a blow out of either team but both sides just kept slugging it out. Proud of my Gators too, crazy year but it was a good one
@wwe action kid 2.0 let’s talk about how Florida wins by 40 over LSU if pitts played 🤣🤣🤣 Christ they win that game if dumbass doesn’t chuck a cleat after getting the stop on 3rd down with 2 plus minutes left 🤣🤣
I'd say this game shows why the SEC Championship game is so important. It hones our teams going into the playoff. This year, it reminded Alabama they can't let off the gas against a strong offense, and that translated into to a blowout of OSU. To borrow a line from scripture, iron sharpens iron.
Assuming Florida would've gotten the 4th seed, they would've drawn Clemson. There's no way they're beating Clemson, and if they did, they would've lost to Ohio State.
Biggest momentum change was when forristall got stripped and then Metchie got us the ball back. This was such a great game tho. Coming from a bama fan. I hate when I have to talk shit about other teams and fans when they talk about my bama team and players but it is what it is. Kyle pitts was the best TE I’ve ever watched. Also back to the stripped hall play I think Mac missed metchie on that play because it looked like he was wide open but I couldn’t tell. The next Georgia vs Florida game tho is gonna be unreal
You’re right about him. He’s an incredible football player that was pretty much unguardable this year. I know the rest of the conference is glad they won’t have to see him anymore.
@@austinpaul3692 well I'd expect our defense to play up to the challenge considering they did go up against the Heisman winner and a Heisman contender in practice everyday. Besides, isn't Pitts a tight end? And ya boy Toney couldn't hold Waddle or Ruggs III water bottles. 4.3 and 4.2 40 times respectfully. Pitts nor Toney could run that even if they were running down a mountain with a 50 mph wind at their back.
@@BamaRewind And, I thought that they played much better vs. Ohio State. I know Mullen took a lot of flack when he said this, but the Florida team that played Oklahoma was not the Florida team that Alabama played in this game. They were a legit team, even with the inexplicable loss to LSU.
This was the national championship not alabama and ohio st what a game kudos to florida battling alabama and putting a offensive show on a tough alabama defense florida gave alabama quite a scare and this 2020 alabama team is one of the greatest teams of all time . great game great offensive game.
@@BamaRewind Without a doubt, and we'd be squaring off against them again. Not something I'd have looked forward to. Ohio definitely doesn't deserve to be in the mix, they'd take their slot.
@@tgtg7182 The scoreboard says otherwise. Bama routed Notre Dame and literally just decided to milk the clock after the first quarter cause the game was already over. Ohio State was blown out of the water. A 2 loss Florida was clearly better than any other playoff team considering that their only losses would have been a thriller against #5 Texas AM in the beginning of year when they had missing players, and another close game against #1 Alabama in the SEC Championship.
@@davidv8285 They weren't better than Oklahoma, who WAS NOT a playoff team. Oklahoma didn't just run Florida out of the stadium, they ran them out of the STATE, all the way back to FLORIDA with their tail between their legs.
So Florida striping a pick that was going the other way for 6 points and having a wr in the right place in the right time to cause a fumble and scoring a td on the ensuing play wasn’t lucky ? That’s a 14 point swing in a game Bama won by 6 👀👀👀
At the end of the day the better team was Bama and they won but to say Florida had all these lucky “breaks” and Bama didn’t get any is pretty damn laughable 🤣🤣🤣
@Adam Mauer dude bama forced 3 or 4 fumbles and only recovered 1. Each of those drives Florida ended up scoring on. We actually recovered 2 but 1 of them (on the goal line) our db was offsides 🤦🏽♂️ with bama’s offense the game wouldn’t have been close if they recovered a majority of the fumbles. Statistically when the offense fumbles the defense recovers it at a very high % so that alone is a huge break you can’t deny that. Yea sure Alabama had some breaks but the fumble thing I obviously can’t get over. Also Florida got some clutch penalties/3rd and long conversions. All I’m saying is that it didn’t seem like Florida deserved to loose by only 6 points. I’m not even a bama fan I noticed it
its so silly the refs calling pass interference when a CB is trying to cover pits. like he is 6'4 240 and much stronger than you, but you are the one that is too rough with him and you are like 6 foot 190? lol okay
Kyle Pitts was a nightmare to play against. Most college teams don't have a guy big and fast enough to cover him which is why he was arguably the best weapon in football that year. I still take Devonta Smith though.
@@bamafan18yeah Devonta Smith could catch passes thrown around his side of the field and he could still catch it. Him and Waddle gave Mac Jones easy targets. Not to mention the o-line and great running backs.
not the same FL team, no toney or pitts, who cares OU is trying to get into the SEC because they know nobody cares about or watches that trash cupcake conference that theyre in
The only game UF got ready for and fucked it up. Go Gators go to the 8-4 record you own. BAMA 13-0 and knew they had to play vs UF due to them putting all their eggs into one basket.
