2020 Slingshot Ride Command bypass for Aftermartket System 

yes there is now quick fix to have total control of everything. you could add a DSP to the original which would add more channels for amplifiers ect. My purpose was to have more cell phoe like features and apps. The Ride command is tied to the engien and computer and need to stay in. Also you can start the sling with out the key entering the code into the ride command. Hope this helps

@@clydesimmons251 I mean for a head unit. I absolutely can’t take out the ride command? If it throws a code, the dealer can’t reset? I swore I’ve seen a few 2020+ slings that come with ride command originally, but were switched out.

the problem is that the Ride command is only two channel. Adding a aftermarket give more versatility if thats what you you are looking for.

Add a dsp and you can add up to 8 channels of output. It is done all the time. Makes some great systems.

will doing this stop the music from being louder while driving and quieter while idling?

Did the same thing. My ride command don’t keep time. When you set it and turn off power it looses time. What else needs to be plugged into the ride command. I have the main harness plug in. No more codes on cluster but it wont keep the time.
