A star was born at the 2020 #SpanishGP! ⭐ Relive all the twists and turns of the race that saw Fabio Quartararo victorious in #MotoGP for the first time 🤩
I hope we get this Marquez next year with the ducati.Aside from crashing at turn 4 at the end almost costing him entire career this was one of the best performances i have ever seen in this sport..
@@natan4763 i just did absolutely unbeliavable if this guy still has that magic he once had before the arm injury then the whole grid is going to be in a very big trouble next year on that ducati
Not to mention that Suzuki almost won the triple crown as well. Before the last round of 2020 in Portimao, Suzuki had already safely secured both the Riders' and Teams' Championships, and was level on points with Ducati in Constructors' Championship. Yamaha was 13 points behind in 3rd (they led the Championship but were deducted 50 points due to violation of technical protocols). Alas, Mir was forced to retire and Rins finished 15th - a result so bad that not only did Ducati win the Constructors' title, but even penalised Yamaha was able to snatch the 2nd place thanks to Morbidelli finishing 3rd in the race.
Saving a crash while being at the front , going to gravel coming to the back, pushed do hard that he he directly behind vinales. I think most people don't understand how difficult it is. Those years were nothing compared to what he shown us and will show us. I don't think this new generation have that mental strength as that of MARQUEZ.
Just came back to watch this race again after the 2024 french grandprix where it seems as though marc is getting back to his old self. This is the best rider motorgp has ever had im not saying he is the GOAT that's for VR46 but in terms of raw talent he is definately the best ever. Im sure he will finish top two in the championship this year. and if he doesnt have a lot of crashes heck he could even win it on a GP23 ducati bike and make history once more.
People forget Honda always has been the hardest bike to turn in the corners after Marquez and Pedrosa, No one really tamed the HondaRC. Now that he is on the Ducati for the 2024 season. I don't see any reason for him to lead the championship, of course, the mid-season factory team would have the advantage but Marquez will surely Lead all the way.
@plebtile3347 he done a lap time .6 faster than peccos pole positions year on the same bike, I think he's doing just fine. There's still what? 38 races? We all know the real season starts in Europe
I hope Marc goes crazy with the Ducati, revenge for this circuit, I keep imagining if only Marc didn't fall at that time, the race would have been very exciting
I miss these "Yamaha Petronas" motorcycles, simply superb looking bikes...!!! Throughout the years in "MotoGP" & "Wsbk" the "Yamaha" Motorcycles always had the most beautiful designed & marvelous paint 🎨 jobs on their bikes. Their bikes always stood out, and now all they have to do is get back to the top with winning 😉 . I certainly hope 2024 will be a change for them🎉.!?
But Honda made biggest mistake, too much relying on Marc for bike development and not listening to advice of former racers who knew the ins and outs of Honda, such as Pedrosa and Crutchlow
Mir ET quartararo ont eu de la chance que Marquez s'est bien amoché sinon aucun des deux n'aurait été champion ni en 2020 et 2021 en plus pas le championnat complet 😏
I so wish MM just went down on that first save. He could have not been this badly injured 😢 Ndl, he's back and what a race for him to take P2 in 2024!🎉
Quartararo20 the best 😈👊fans sejati :D 🏅 Respect marc dia berusaha P2 karna gagal live awal tapi nasib tidak berpihak kepadanya.. Pantas dijuluki manusia elien
“Marquez is a genius” 🤣🤣 He nearly crashes and throws the race lead and win away. Yeah that’s great! 👍 This was the beginning of the end of Marc Marquez
I am slipping out of being a Great *"NASCAR"* Fan and becoming a BiG Motorcycle Fan. I've been bringing on every "Isles of Man" video and "Valentino Rossi" video I can find 🤙
He is the champions, he solo the triple crowns, his brother is teammates, there is covid but the season is short, the first race is in home soil, he is known to have amazing saves, he did save a crash in this race and his pace is enough to catch leading rider. What can actually go wrong? Rest in peace, Marc.... ...o Simoncelli
Smngt marq😢
@@pecco8300 I think he is a good racer it's just that he's a bit of a loose cannon ( constantly receiving penalties) fun to watch and unpredictable is his thing I don't know why @James Hunt0207 thought it was a joke
Not hating on marc cause he is amazing but i saw norick abe in suzuka 93 or 94 saving a crash like that but with that 2stroke and no electronics that was amazing. He was battling with Schawntz and Doohan but crashed out of the race later
Actually a lot of the times it can be "easier" (as if saving a crash while going that fast is ever easy) to save with no electronics and full manual than to fight with the physics AND electronics at the same time for the few milliseconds you have. You can even see it in a lot of plane crashes where the "electronics" cos more or all the problems and if they weren't there the pilots could have saved the crash. And plane electronics are way more understood by the pilots than bike electronics are understood by the riders, they mostly just go by intuition of what the electronics are doing. So as with bike electronics, it can "help" you a lot and overcome a lot of common mistakes of the rider (especially if the rider is not that good) and also mainly help with extracting every bit of performance from the machine. But when things suddenly go way out of the normal, the electronics would just not know what to do, or it could make things worst, or it might try to correct the error in one way while the rider is trying to correct the error in another way causing the crash to get even worse.
Only Dovi gave him a good competition from 2016-2019.Now There are Riders like Martin,Acosta,Bagnaia,Bastiatini,Binder. Also Vinales looking good in Aprilla. This year Will be very competitive. So there is a big difference than that time.If Quatararo Had taken Aprilla's offer maybe he could have been another contender
You tube header says road racing, sorry you tube, tracks are not roads, they are special built tracks, only thing similar is both are asphalt. tracks are for prima donnas roads for real racers like the IOMTT. Where real racers go to race
Yeah, what's really weird again that Marc went racing on 2021 after that horrible crash and won 3 Times. And double podium for Honda on Misano. 2024, all Japanese Manufacture especially Honda always on the back foot.
I m not marc fans. but his crash may gone badly as he was hit by the bike while sliding from highside. just glad that nothing worse happen and he still racing right now
Honda's performance has been spiralling downwards for many years, ever since 2015 really their gap to the top of the field has increased year by year. But even so I think Marcquez would have won 2020 and 2021 but then from 2022 onwards the machinery deficit was just too much to overcome, I mean, even so the reason for the crash and injury here at Jerez 2020 was due to pushing an uncompetitive bike beyond all limits. Meaning that any injury resulting crash was pretty likely to happen and getting bigger every year since 2015. But assuming that he doesn't get injures at Jerez nor at any other point in 2020-2021 he does win those championships. Even at the back half of 2021 with his right arm twisted 37 degrees and lacking strength he still picked up 3 wins and 2 in a row before he had an injury that gave him a diplopia episode that then ended his season with 2 rounds to go.
