Appreciate you putting it up on the lift and letting us see the suspension and undercarriage. Too many reviewers neglect to do that and it is very helpful for those of us who change our own oil. I just bought a preowned 2020 Camry SE.
I never really paid any attention to these until last fall, we got off the plane in Florida and went to pick up our rental car and ended up with one of these....it was brand new with literally 5 miles on the odometer, they must have just got it from the dealer lot. You could smell all the plastics and exhaust getting hot for the first time. I was fairly impressed with it, was a really nice car. Kinda unusual to get a rental thats brand new and "untenderized"!
Awesome review Brian. Super informative and I love how you see more of the car with your style of presentation. Although some may find it bland because it’s not all tech or bells and whistles the more you know leads to a better decision for your car purchase. Keep up the great content.
Nice car ! The paddle shifters can be used for engine braking by pulling the left (minus) paddle. I just got a red with black interior and like it a lot so far.
Good review Brian. The only thing I don’t like about the new Camry is the fake vents on the sides of the rear bumper. I passed one on the highway and thought they looked like gaps between the body and bumper. Other than that for me it’s a real nice car.
I think the paddle shifts are just fine. Kind of fun to have for an automatic. The downshift feature is crap but I like being able to let it rev up a little before I shift.
Thanks Brian Great Review. Do The Upper Trims Have Control's For The Radio And What Price Point is That. Best Review Style I've Seen Yet 🎥🎥 Thanks Again.
i just don't like the fake vents and the no light in visor. overall I love camry's. always have been great cars! my dream car is the XSE model with panoramic sunroof and red interior ❤❤❤❤ great review!!
Just got past the 600 mile recommended break-in period on my 2020 Camry SE. I've always been a sports car/sports sedan kind of guy. Must say this Camry SE has exceeded my expectations in all respects. I got just under 41 mpg on a 250 mile trip yesterday. Actually the trip computer was showing 43 mpg in a lowered speed zone just after I got on the freeway after filling up and reseting the computer.
Very interested in this car, and I am aware of the 2020 engine recall, but trust Toyota will get it that fixed. However, one concern that I have repeatedly seen lately is with the battery dying, leaving people stranded. There’s seemingly a battery drainage issue with the 20s.
Looks like only 250 cars will have this engine problem total, so you should be safe there. Haven't seen or heard anything about the battery issue. Thanks for watching.
Great review man. I’ve been thinking about getting this car for awhile. Might pull the trigger soon. I have enough for a down payment but I don’t have a credit card. Therefore I’m kinda screwed lol
@@timsweeney684 If you have good credit you have leverage. If you don't have good credit they will jack you around and make you put money down to "guarantee" your credit worthiness. When you have a 750 or better credit score, you essentially decide how you want the sales experience to go if you're experienced. They play your game within reason or you buy somewhere else. Don't let them run your credit first because they know you don't want too many inquiries on your report. They try to tie you to the dealership that way. You work out the terms first and then have your credit run when it's on paper. That is, if you have good credit.
Thank you! I think the power sliding seat should be standard in all trims! I was surprised it's not in this SE trim. Toyota always does those nonsense little things in their vehicles
Thank you for the review! I want to get an le for the money, but I wanted to see if there is a difference with the se that I would miss out on. Also, I think this is the best generation of the Camry yet
rafsolo ive been looking at the Camrys recently too if you’re the casual type I’d go for the Le but if you like the more sporty type, I suggest the Se but idk im turning 17 soon so im not too experienced.
@@sungjeh that's true, but it's not just about sportiness. Some cars and trims just feel different. I'm looking for a car I can connect with and enjoy driving. It doesn't just have to the sport model. Sometimes, driving a non-sport model through corners and higher speeds can be fun too, if you know what you're doing
@@sungjeh no problem. Trust me. If you still love cars in the next few years, you're going to learn and pick up a lot of things over the years. And don't underestimate the underdog either. If you haven't heard of it, try checking out the Toyota AE86. There's two racing anime on RU-vid you can watch. One is called Initial D. Another one is called Wangan Midnight. Both series are available on RU-vid
I recently got a 2020 toyota camry se.before i used to drive 2015 toyota camry.i found the acceleration is not as smooth as my 2015 and its kind of heavy when i press the gas pedel.is it normal?
PIPSBURGH VIEWS Very smooth ride, good peace of mind knowing it’s one of the most reliable Toyota Models made. And as I said, it feels good knowing it was totally made here in the USA. The owners Manuel also gives the option for 0w-20 oil, as the weather get warmer/Hot, which I will do. 👍🇺🇸
How do your Bridgestone Turanzas perform at 65mph to 70mph? I know on mine 2019 Camry SE at that speed the car starts to shimmy in the seat. i was thinking of switching over to Michelin's
Keon Jenkins this car only had 4,000 miles on it so it was smooth. If your tires are wearing evenly, you may need to have them rebalanced. Either way, Michelins are the best.
My big dislike on this is that it's an se and doesn't come with a keyless entry, while a corolla se has one, which is stupid and ignorant for whoever are marketing these vehicles.
Pretty sure that’s an option on the lower trim Corollas like the SE. Same goes with the Camry. My SE has keyless entry and push start button because it came with the convenience package. If I didn’t get an SE with that package then I’d have to use the fob to unlock/lock the car and use an actual key to start the ignition.
@@PIPSBURGHVIEWS lol it just caught me off guard cause I know the SE only has the roof as an option. I have an SE without the roof but I do have the convenience package which includes the auto dimming rear view mirror, garage door opener, keyless entry and push to start button. I also have the blind spot package which includes blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert and active trajectory lines while using the backup center.
Stick with Japanese cars they are unbeatable when it comes to reliability you just do basic maintenance and they will last forever like I mean forever. I’m gonna keep my 2018 Camry till it dies or give it to my future kids
The number of people that buy a car for the radio is absolutely mind numbing. Tell me how that does you when the car won't start, but your radio still works.
I like the le but the only thing i dont like about it is a rubber steering wheel ..why cant they have a leather wrapped on le..they call it luxury with cheap steering wheel
