When something has great resale value it can be hard to decide if buying used is the smarter choice. So lets take a look at what might be the best choice for you.
The 2020 Kia Telluride shares a platform with the Hyundai Palisade, but is actually a bit roomier inside. Both The Palisade and the Telluride are great SUV's, but I like the Kia Telluride vs the Hyundai Palisade.
This 2020 Kia Telluride for sale near me is available at BMW of Hawaii in Kona.
We are going to take a look at the Kia Telluride interior, Kia Telluride horsepower, Kia Telluride trunk space, Kia Telluride test drive, Kia Telluride mpg and much more.
That you for taking a look at 2020 used Kia Telluride review - USED or NEW? What's the smarter buy? on The Fast Lane With Joe Tunney

Great video thank you! Let's not ignore that as soon as you say "honda pilot" on the minute 17:49 there is one driving by in the background - syn·chro·nic·i·ty - amazing!

Got my 2021 telly awd sx prestige nightfall dark moss with tow pkg. Sept 2020, right before all the pandemic shortage craziness set in. Under 50 G's. This suv is enjoyable and really cool for short or long trips. 1 trip was 7 hrs and 6 adults. Everyone was comfortable, no extra stops to stretch. That was really impressive for a mid sized suv.

I’ve seen 2020 SX models with 70k miles for $40k so these things are not going down in value. I bought mine new (EX AWD) so def buying new is better due to the full 10 yr warranty

Only a nut with mental deficiency would pay $40K for a vehicle you describe! I'm not saying the Telluride is not a great vehicle. I'm just saying you've got to have at least half a BRAIN inside your skull (rollseyes). Like they say there is a sucker (a big time sucker at that) born every minute that will pay that kind of money for something with 70K miles! I would not pay a dime over $25K with that kind of mileage.

6:31, bruh, I've had a Pilot, and believe me, there's way more leg room in the Telluride, Pilot/Highlander/CX9/Ascent has way less 3rd row leg room.

I got my 2021 S AWD for less then a used S AWD

Can I ask the price you got fo your 2021 S AWD?

That's because you're SMART. There are always the nutjobs that will pay all kinds of asking price for a USED vehicle which should be SUBSTANTIALLY less than any new vehicle. Anyone who does not understand this basic stuff is clearly a braindead IDIOT

I will take the time will tell approach. My Toyota’s are running fine and maybe my next vehicles might be totally electric.🤔👍

Kia’s and Hyundai’s newer cars have good value and tech for their affordable price. Back in pre-2014 they used to have a lot more engine fire recall issues and transmission issues. I hope they prove to be just as reliable if not more than Ford, Subaru, Nissan, Mazda, and Mitsubishi in the long term. They have already beat Chevorlet, Volkswagon, and Dodge/Jeep. Hopefully they may be able to match Toyota/Honda in long term 20-30+ year reliability, durability, affordability, and quality in the future too.

i would say Hyundai or Kai puting out a recall is a good thing even for vehicles out of warranty compared to say Honda which has its share of Problems over the last 15 years to date but hardly any recalls just a technical bulletins which means more than likely its coming outa ur pocket.. i would say they are very reliable.. all Manufacturers have issues even the great Toyota as a list on a few of its models but doesn't make headline news

It won’t last no where near long as a Toyota Land Cruiser. In 3 or 4 yrs old, time will tell if exorbitant repair costs will occur. Kia hasn’t had the best Track Record over the years.🤔😬

Exactly correct! I'm very drawn to this Kia Telluride, because the engine is infinitely *_smoother, quieter and much much more refined_* than the new Toyota Highlander, which is NOISY, UNREFINED and harsh-sounding. But my biggest concern is reliability and long-term durability! I keep my cars 10+ years and I expect total trouble-free service during those years (I've been spoiled by the Toyota ownership experience). I will wait for around 4 years, and carefully study the reliability and durability patterns on Consumer Reports and the Telluride forums. As you said, it will never be as reliable or durable as a Highlander, but if it comes fairly close that would suffice for many, including myself! Oh, and Toyota *LANDCRUISER* is a whole different animal. Those things are in a category by themselves and they essentially last for an ETERNITY. They are essentially "lifetime" vehicles!

Nope! Bought new.. the used prices are sky rocket high for a 10k-20k milage! I will be stupid crazy to buy a used Telluride with only $2k-3k less than a new one
