Alot of dude are from others country , little did they know that volkswagen malaysia still selling the old Polo instead of bringing the new one in. Anyway how’s this car dude , I’m rocking Honda jazz 2015 now but thinking to switch to Polo Gti 1.4 or Polo 1.6 Mpi. But kinda worry about the performance on the 1.6 MPI , Gti dor sure deliver it performance but way older car which have high risk of internal failures
I suggest you go for a test drive to decide. GTI no doubt is an pocket rocket won't let you down on the performance. But like you said need bare in mind of the maintenance and issue since used. As for the 1.6 MPI Polo really nothing to shout about on the performance. But as for NA engine and torque converter transmission you can have more peace of mind on the reliability. Back to your thought it is like going an risky adventure and get something magnificent or just go for a daily routine and get the day done 🤣
