Ah that's fine for the Americans, but in the UK on our right hand drive Volvos, the key is still on the left so I can't start it for shit while standing on the ground! Let alone the fact that they're all cabover in the UK so they're way taller making it even more impossible. Always hated that about Volvos over here.
@@lewisbiggs5977 Well, im from europe myself (Denmark) and drive a FH460 daily. I dont think the problem is to bad as you can mostly just hop on the first step and reach under/around the steering collum to reach the key. But it sure would be nice to have the same system as here.
Very, very, VERY NICE TRUCK. Volvo listened to their drivers over the years. It’s paid off, there are bunches on the Carolina highways. Thanks for a very good vlog and for posting.
You should to see brand new volvo fh there are cool features. I don't know why volvo do not fit new dashboard in US. Also configuration 6x4 with rear lift axle and clutch for diff, new headlights with clever technology etc.
I have been to Bruckners Volvo service dept. in OKC! Like I wrote in my Google review it was a joke! My 2020 760 VNL had a massive air leak. Their lead mechanic told me that leaking 22lbs. of pressure in 20 seconds was ok !!! did not even look at the truck! then their manager tried to have me fired for writing a negative review! The Volvo I drive only has 150,000 and is in the shop constantly with mechanical problems. The interior is all plastic and stuff breaks constantly. One good thing is that it is fast, does 75 with 45,000 lbs in trailer
Totally Awesome. I envy drivers cause I don't have the vision required to operate one. Really sucks. Can't get Lazer surgery cause I have to much stigma in both eyes. Darn
So stupid question. I have a 21 vnl 860. I have a generator mounted on the catwalk, will running the truck while plugged into shore power damage anything or feedback into the generator?
why all trucks are not equiped with apu units from factories? this so important, efficient and low polution when drivers needs AC or heater or why an apu unit costs like an economy car ?? wird and non sens, looking in truck stops how a lot of trucks are runing their heavy engines for a simple AC or heater, so noisy, poluation and a lot of money spend for diesel
Inside hood pull handles fail miserably on Volvo trucks!! Confirm my statement by calling any Volvo dealer parts dept.in nortern Ca it's a $400 repair that lasts a few months.
If I’d like different mattress that is big problem … pad for seat will cave down .if you after using the table didn’t clean the food or greaves will sticking on the pad …imagine the food smell from mattress also sleeping on the table that is no good .....
@@lancefrancis342 No matter what, this is a poor design. In the brand-new 860 model, it resembles the borrowed folding bed from Freightliner, and there is no plush version either.Additionally, the plush version is very difficult to clean. When you smoke or cook, the grease and smoke will stick to it.
Volvo is confusing because it's a European company but they have American trucks and European trucks, why make both kinds, that just complicates things
Hood cables brake every other week batteries suck on them side skirts fall off cabinet doors fall off all around the trucks suck and poor design. Not to mention everything is made of plastic nuts and bolts hit a pot hole and pray the damn truck don’t shake apart
