Great job. I own a 2019 GTI S, with a DSG transmission. My shifting days are over at 77. The only thing I miss on my car is the compass, don’t really need the sunroof here in Florida. As far as the piano black trim, just use a micro cloth, gently, to keep the dust to a minimum. I may be a little too old for the car, but who cares, I’m worth it ! Thanks, RickGTI
Nice review! I picked up a 2020 Autobahn in January. and yeah, the White Silver is definitely the best color they offer! I chose the autobahn because it gives you adaptive cruise control which is nice for my 80% highway commute to work. It also gives you the upgraded stereo (awesome) and the adaptive dampers (also awesome lol). I've kept it completely stock for now (dealer convinced me to get the extended warranty) but I wouldn't mind getting an intake and some different wheels
I have a 2019 GTI in silver-white,, awesome color. It's a great car with the DSG. I had to tune the car at the expense of warranty because CVT like shifting behavior was unbearable for me to live with for 4 years. That costed me my warranty, but serious increased the driving snjoyment of the vehicle. Stock shifting was like a Lame CVT transmission shifts. I also add an ECN tune to I could beat all the other GTIs out there as hardly anyone else was willing to void there warranty for a fast MK7.5 I did and love it.
Ummm, you are not hearing the exhaust you are hearing the sound actor, go into custom mode and shut it off. I have a 2021 GTI and run it in custom mode with everything set to sport mode with that stupid sound actor turned off
I have auto start stop on my standard Euro-spec manual, there are a lot of differences between Euro and US trim levels, we only have two different standard GTI types, Performance and non-Performance
hey man, I just got a 2021 gti se a month ago and now it’s making a creaking noise inside the car when I’m driving. It’s coming from the doors both driver and passenger side. Do you guys have the same problem?
Hey nice review man! Regarding the steering wheel shine, it is just because of it being in use. I don't know what material they use but it shines very easily. If you just get some interior detailing solution, the steering will look good as new! 👍
Oh dude it was ridiculousss! Trust me I love loud intakes but when I’m on my way to work at 5 in the morning and I don’t even want to be alive, it gets annoying lol
I'm in the market for a GTI and I cannot decide on DSG vs manual. I have a strong feeling if I got the DSG I'd miss shifting. I've driven manual all my life. The weak clutch does scare me though.
Sadly the car is gone now! But at the time it was a resonator and muffler delete so pretty much straight pipe from the downpipe back. Wasn’t super loud
