First ride on my new 2020 Yz450F at Gopher Dunes MX in Canada. Video taken with a Gopro Hero 8 Black, Thanks for watching! Instagram: @coltonschelble11
on it , good stuff 1st ride 2020. Can,t wait to get back at it. Any chance you have rode the 2019 to give a comparison ?. Better deal on a 19 available to me. But really like what i read about the 20. tough one
Thanks I appreciate it!! I have ridden a 19 but it was set up for a 200 pound rider and I'm only 155 so I couldn't compare good enough. My opinion though is, I think all the Yamaha's the last 5 or so years are great bikes. I think the 2020 450 is the best yet but its minor improvements from the 19. They're both great bikes but I would say the 20 was made even better. If its the 250f you're talking about though then the 19 and 20's are the same, they only updated the 450 this year. Hope that helps 👍
I'm gonna do a short little video of it all built too. The last month I've put a ton of trick parts on it but kept the suspension and engine stock. I'll be posting a lot more riding videos of it this year for sure, thanks for the subscribe!
I saw that you are 155 pounds in another comment. I am around the same weight and am looking to upgrade to a 450 from my YZ250. Was the suspension on the YZ450F in this video stock? How did it feel, being someone who is 155 pounds? I would greatly appreciate any feedback. Keep shredding out there!
For me the stock suspension is good up to about 80% of my speed, that last 20% the bike is too soft and I blow through the stroke trying to ride it hard. I'm a fast expert/A rider. I'm not sure really how the difference is compared to the 250f is though, but thats how the 450 suspension stock definitely is for me.
@@jasonp.9148 In general I slow down rebound and soften the suspension. I ended up sending mine out to Pr2 though because the stock suspension i just couldn't get comfort out of when i was going 100%
