Like you, I have around 75 Nascar 1/24 scale car collected over a number of years as I was a huge fan of the series. However, once I discovered IMSA , SRO and the WEC my life and taste in rear cars changed. Haven't been to a Nascar race in 4 years now. I you haven't been to a IMSA race and love cars, REAL cars and protoypes like the Caddy DPI you picked up. Go to an IMSA race. It will change your life. At these races everyone can up close and touch the cars if you like. You can interact and pick the brains of mechanic's, engineer's etc.. I have a hundred pictures of your car and love watching them and the GT3 cars race. Congrats on a cool purchase, I hope it has grown you. PS: dont remove it from the base and handle with care as they are very fragile. I have broken rear wings and antennas by the hundreds, even on my Nascar cars.
Bought the model today… I just love the cadi DPI and will miss it when it’s gone next season… IMSA is by far the best endurance series on earth and everyone, that’s in to Motorsports should watch it… great video!
the level of details are similiar to an F1 1/18 models such as Minichamps and Spark. Its very interesting to see IMSA cars though, as most of the time they only produce (mostly) European based racing series
